* LA Mayor Eric Garcetti gave a rambling interview with GMA Wednesday
* He backpedaled on comments made by LA County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer on Tuesday
* Ferrer said stay-at-home orders would 'with all certainty' be extended for the next three months
* Garcetti said Ferrer simply meant 'health orders telling us to cover our faces and physically distance' would continue

The mayor of LA has sent a terrifying warning to Angelinos that 'LA will never be completely open until we have a cure', one day after the county health director extended its lockdown by three months.

Mayor Eric Garcetti gave a rambling interview with Good Morning America Wednesday in which he attempted to play down the lockdown extension through to August but sparked yet further confusion among angry residents over when it will reopen.

Garcetti backpedaled on comments made by LA County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer on Tuesday. She had said stay-at-home orders in LA will 'with all certainty' be extended for the next three months.

He said all she had meant was for people to 'cover our faces, physically distance and that you're safest working from and staying at home'.

WNU Editor: It will take a year to 18 months until a vaccine is developed, and a few months more to manufacture, distribute, and train people to administer it. And that is if they do succeed in developing a vaccine. In short. The mayor is basically saying that schools and non-essential businesses will be closed until 2021 or longer. Talk about destroying your economic base and causing incredible harm to hundreds of thousands of people. Harm that will probably be far worse than what the pandemic may bring. Here is an easy prediction. I give it a month or two and there will be a blow-back against the mayor that has not been see for a long time if he stays committed to this course of action.

"But except for a canine enteric coronavirus vaccine (Merck Animal Health), which does NOT protect against the canine respiratory form of the same virus, there has NEVER been a successful coronavirus vaccine developed–ever."

Democrats need to all be committed to asylums.

Just keep printing polls f Trump at 51% popularity or higher. The polls can be real or faked. The Democrat politicians will do their duty to Party and socialism; they will keep America shutdown.

The shutdowns are not based om science. They are based rather on politics.

Respectfully, the statements 'it will be at least "x" until we have a vaccine, are encouraging a false premise.

It will be no sooner than "x" that a vaccine, if possible, will be available.

It is entirely possible a successful vaccine will never be possible.

Gosh. It’s a good thing we have a “cure” for AIDS.

Oh wait. No we don’t. Never did.

Was 7:31 calling Russ a wanker?

For speaking the truth?

There is only 1 poster, who calls people wanker on this site. You would figure with all those years, there would be a smidgeon of wisdom.

You have to figure what a person did for 3 decades, the missing decades. It is unknown, but just not fathomable.

But, if you think outside the normal lanes, the comment makes sense.

Power, once taken by politicians, is not easily given up. A never ending crisis is made to order.
