copley7,

Are you surprised in a clickbait media world. Jay Farqhuson awhile back posted about clickbait sites. It just occurred to me that the TV media is the same way. Okay, I admit it; I can be slow. But the words reporters and anchors. The intonation or inflection they put on words. Their story line up (omission, juxtaposition, spin, etc). It is very clickbait. We live in a clock bait world. Who is going to make money off of the disaster in Africa? Is Sally Struthers around? There are a few people making money & very high salaries off disaster in Africa or elsewhere. Those would be the refugee resettlement agencies that are on the government tit. For the most part it does not help a party in Washington or does not sell copy, or further the cause, so they don't care.
