Twitter flagged President Trump's tweet saying it was 'glorifying violence' for a second time after the official White House account reposted it Friday morning.
'These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!' the tweet read.
There's been chaos in the Minnesota city since a white police officer took the life of a black man, George Floyd, by kneeing him in the neck until he stopped breathing.
Trump initially posted it from his @realDonaldTrump account at 1 a.m. Friday.
The company attached a warning label to the tweet saying that it violated the rules.
When the president woke up Friday morning, he began angrily attacking Twitter.

I'm no fan of Obama, but, having read through what you are referring too, am puzzled.
Obama referred to them as 'Thugs', just like Trump. Not exactly harsh or uncompromising. However at no point did he use language as Trump did in relation to 'Shooting'.
Of course the media will pick up on that and focus on it. Trump shouldn't have said it simply for that fact alone.
What Trump said plain and simple was not a leader quelling outbursts but threats and implication of force...now, no matter how you feel about the matter in general, a leader's task is to show understanding and restraint and attempt to bring about a peaceful resolution. Tip: Did the president speak to the slain man"s widow? no.
now, doubtless chuds will make some nasty comments about me--always personal attacks; and doubtless unload on those protesting. I am here arguing for what is and should be the role, task of a leader. simple as that.
I'm sure the top stakeholders/owners of Twitter have armed security that it is prepared for and expected to use lethal force to defend their property. POTUS has placed the thugs/hoodlums on notice that he is expects law enforcement and the National Guard to use lethal force as necessary against such thugs to protect the lives and the property of innocents.
The police officers who murdered George Floyd will be brought to justice. Will the looters who attacked people and destroyed property ever be brought to justice? I'm not so optimistic that'll ever happen. At least POTUS is sending a message to those people that they matter to him.
As to meeting with Mr. Floyd's widow, I fail to see what such an overtly political stunt would accomplish. POTUS is VERY busy. As his resources and time are very limited, I'd prefer actions that might yield positive results. An example of this, is POTUS's actions to get the Federal Government involved early on. He's generally reluctant to intervene in state or local affairs. By getting the Federal Government involved early on this got the locals moving otherwise we'd still be waiting on charges to be filed as race baiting tends to be a popular sport for politicians.
Potus is busy? the nation is in chaos and Trump is busy? are you as obtuse as he is or simply bullshitting the Putin line

When the L.A. riots went off almost exactly 28 years ago there was shooting in response to looting. Korean shop owners stood on their roofs armed with AR and AK variant rifles with the full intent to shoot looters. Many were shot and killed.
"When the looting starts the shooting starts" is just fuel for fake political/media outrage. In fact there's a lot more manufactured outrage at Trump's twitter feed than the destruction of MLPS by opportunistic thugs.
People need to get the context of Trump's remarks correct before popping off like race-baiting reactionaries.
With all that's going on he's very busy. His time and resources are very limited, no time for such blatant political stunts such as a meeting with Mr. Floyd's widow. Furthermore I'm sure she'd resent being used as a political prop in this way. It'd be better to use those resources to put pressure on the locals to get moving on arresting the men who mmurdered Mr. Floyd. This is exactly what happened. Without such pressure I highly doubt we'd have had an arrest today.
The attempts to bring up Putin and the Miama police chief of the 1960s appear to be attempts at diversion in order to avoid having to defend an indefensible position. It does seem to be a common strategy. When one's position is indefensible, attempt to divert. Such things also could meet the definition of trolling.
"the nation is in chaos..." very respectfully such breathless hysteria is not helpful. The problems are in Minneapolis and a few other cities. Most other areas such as where I live are fine. While I can't speak for the other places, where I live we will NOT tolerate such thuggish behavior.
While I do hope and pray it does not come to having to shoot murderous thieving rioters, the owners of Twitter would expect nothing less than this of their well armed security personnel should they be threatened in a similar manner. POTUS is attempting to extend the same basic protections to ordinary law abiding people. I think he's also "green lighting" other "Targets" and "Auto Zones" letting them know he has their backs should they come under such attacks in the future. They have every right to use lethal force to defend themselves, their families, their property, and their livelihoods should that be necessary.
I think it also important to review how we got here. 1.) During an incident of police brutality and murder someone recklessly posted a video of this online. Even without the video there were numerous eye witnesses. As such, convictions of the officers would have easily been obtained even without the videos. Since cell videos are/were available, this would have been sufficient as evidence in the upcoming trial. Based upon past experience it should have been well known how certain people were/are going to react. It follows from this experiential common sense would say DON'T POST THE VIDEO ONLINE!! The reckless idiot(s) who did this should be made to account for the enormous property damage their actions have contributed to. If innocents haven't been murdered yet, it's likely only a matter of when and not if. They should be prosecuted for their reckless actions if this is possible. Without this there's likely no riots and the officers are still convicted.
2.) The actions of the mayor of Minneapolis and the governor of MN have been at best cowardly. Never ask a rioter/thug/bully to "please" not do something. This only encourages them to do that which they are being asked not to do.
Essentially these two, certain media pundits, and whomever posted this video online are primarily to blame for the "chaos." Now Trunp is showing leadership in working to restore basic rule of law and justice. His getting the federal government involved in this early very likely got the locals moving. Otherwise we'd still probably be waiting for an arrest.
