The Hill: US coronavirus death toll tops 90,000
The coronavirus has killed at least 90,000 people in the U.S.
The death toll, based on Johns Hopkins data, is by far the largest in the world, though numbers from China have been met with skepticism. Following the U.S., the United Kingdom is second in official deaths with nearly 35,000, followed by Italy with roughly 32,000.
The U.S. total of 90,312, which happened in just over three months, also far surpasses the number of people who died due to seasonal influenza this year, which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates is 62,000 over a period of about six months.

A bit of healthu skeptiscism. Does the number shows people who died while infected with corona, or people who died of corona. The answer is the first as you will be pressed to determine the actual course of deaths in the risc groups.
So you should look into the increase in deaths compared to previous years

OP here, my point is that the groups at risc, are primarely old people in bad conditions, many will be infected and die of it because corona, many will die because they were dying. From the pool of people dying because of Corona, many would have died within a brief period and as such represent a loss of humanlife, but litlle in the loss of time on earth. Statistics can be misleading even when true. I just say a little bit of critical thinking should be applied. And a way to root out bias is to actually see if the deathtold actually has been bigger in the corona period
