280 Retired Diplomats, Generals And Senior National Security Officials Condemn President Trump's Threat To Use The Military To Stop Rioters

'Losers!' Donald Trump unloaded on top officers including Marine General Joe Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (second right) and Paul Selva, his deputy and a four-star Air Force General (right).

Business Insider: 89 former defense officials say they are 'alarmed' by Trump's threat to use the military to end nationwide unrest

* Dozens of former defense officials, including a handful former secretaries of defense, spoke out in one voice against President Donald Trump and his response to the nationwide protests in an op-ed published in The Washington Post Friday.
* Trump threatened earlier this week to send in the military if a city fails to control local civil unrest before previewing what that might mean with a show of force in Washington, DC.
* "The members of our military are always ready to serve in our nation's defense. But they must never be used to violate the rights of those they are sworn to protect," the authors of the op-ed wrote Friday.
* The joint statement issued Friday follows those of a number of former military leaders, including Trump's former Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis, condemning the president's actions.

Numerous former defense officials strongly spoke out against President Donald Trump's militaristic response to nationwide protests, condemning the president in one voice and urging him to end his threat to use the military to quell unrest in an op-ed published in The Washington Post Friday afternoon.

"Trump continues to use inflammatory language as many Americans protest the unlawful death of George Floyd and the unjust treatment of black Americans by our justice system," they wrote, arguing that the president's rhetoric has become more aggressive as the protests have grown.

The post's authors, 89 former defense officials including people like former defense secretaries Leon Panetta, Chuck Hagel, Ashton Carter, and William Cohen, called Trump's pledge to send the US military into American cities to respond to unrest "shocking."

This is testament to how jam packed our political system was with pieces of shite like these jack wankers before DJT assumed power. It should be a wake up call as to how deep and how far back the leftist deep state goes. Some of these turds go back 30+ years since they were in any real position of power. I'm telling you, the leftists are so desperate that they are willing to bet the entire bank right here and right now in a desperate attempt to thwart Trump's anti-globalist agenda. And I absolutely believe they would rather burn the nation down than allow it to change direction. Remember in November.

"and they hate him because he embarrassed them more than once."

Or, you know, some of them have reservations about using the military to what the White House has also called a 'minority' out of a majority of peaceful protestors causing anachy.

But sure - if you want to say that 89 individuals (which is a very conservative figure) are all out to get Trump because of what he said back at the start of this year, then yeah; blind yourself into that false narrative.

See what many people don't realise it's the revolving door problem

Sure, we all know about the military industrial complex - where big business does deals with the military to keep the stock rising. Somewhere there's gotta be a war or enemy. We need investment and stocks rising, let's go let's go let's go - those Iraqis said something. Let's bomb em.

We understand that model.

But we're now told we live in a knowledge society. We...yeah. .but politically speaking we live in an opinion/truth society. If you leave your job as political hack where your mind was shaped over years to think class and race and gender. You're basically an idiot with a strong opinion and sense of entitlement, distant from the real world and unable to perform in any job. What do you do if you leave the white house or a political hack job and can't land a board seat on an oil or defense or planned parenthood company? You go on network television as a commentator.

The revolving door in politics is not only to the military industrial complex. Hacks like Brennan and Clapper-both failed human beings and borderline retarded-get on NSNBC. They don't think for a second what it does top a nation of they continue their life of lies and deceit in the media. They shrug and think they bare no responsibly for lying through their teeth for years about Trump. All the narratives they pushed. That he's a racist, a sexist, a tyrant. On thousands of occasions and for years they have spewed lies.

Their punishment? 6-7 figure income, limousine rides.

This is why America is currently at crisis. Look no further.

These 280 people are retired. They do not have any financial skin in the game. They risk nothing.

"Over 200 years, the Insurrection Act has been used dozens of times, ... More recently, President George H.W. Bush ordered federal troops ..." - WaPo

So there is nothing novel or new about using the Insurrection Act.

I am tired of these jack asses pretending that they are clean, above board in their finances and everything else.

Like George H.W. Bush George H.W. Bush was alleged to have had a mistress in 1992 by the Democrats. Then the Democrats fell behind Clinton, who makes have 1 mistress discreetly looks like the height of probity. Then a year before he dies George H.W. Bush plays grabs ass. Makes you wonder if the Democrats were right.

Like Mattis.

General Mattis sat on a company that was a complete fraud, but he happily collected $100,000 to $200,000 in compensations for showing up maybe a week every year.

Most people get a of the factory where they work. They see the assembly line. Maybe Theranos was not big enough to have an assembly line. But what about going down to the lab and looking at the prototypes?

Expect what you inspect.

Mattis inspected Nothing but expected a paycheck for a no show job that was the size of the income of 4 families!

Maybe Mattis should be called Board Director No Show ?

Someone please come up with a better name, It is a contest.

If America would lose a war to China, then Trump's assessment of these generals is spot on.

330 million people in the US and they can only come up with 280 former officials or 1 in a million.
