Just The News: As coronavirus cases spike nationally, Black Lives Matter plans more rallies, marches
Some public officials have halted reopening their states as cases have gone up.
Though coronavirus cases are surging in some parts of the United States, many Black Lives Matter activists are nonetheless planning sizable rallies in the near future, defying public health concerns in favor of continuing what has become a month-long streak of aggressive public activism.
The surge in coronavirus cases in some parts of the country — especially Texas, Arizona and Florida — has brought with it renewed fears that any form of reopening states after months of lockdowns will bring a new wave of COVID-19 infections.
The governors of Texas and Florida imposed fresh restrictions on residents this week in response to rising cases in their states, while other governors such as Washington's Jay Inslee mandated that all state residents must wear face masks while out in public.
In spite of those mounting concerns, multiple chapters of Black Lives Matter across the country are still planning rallies and marches, even as officials urge residents to refrain from gathering in large groups.

WNU Editor: Almost every city that has had massive riot/protest/or march is followed by a spike in cases 3 weeks later. But even with this evidence, politicians and media are giving this movement a pass.

Maybe China designed the virus to get rid of old people. Some viruses hit the young especially hard. This virus hits the elderly.
There was a lot of talk about how China could manage its elderly population after decades of the one Child policy. Is the elderly demographic bulge a problem now?
Certainly Democrat governors are rubbing their hands in glee at all the money freed up with the passing of every elderly person.
Blue state elderly have been especially hard hit. Coincidence?

We are not the ones who are being hypocritical. Many of us have said the lockdowns are political theater.
Some of us have advocated for a tailored lockdown, not a one-size-fits-all-fuckercat we are going to fuck-you-in-the-ass-again Democrat designed lockdown.
We have advocated for herd immunity, while protecting nursing homes with lockdowns. Video conferencing comes in real handy for the elderly and their loved ones.

1.) So it a straight forward question without swearing or digs.

But you were set off.
2.) If doctors or experts are telling us that 60% t 80% of use will be infected no matter what we do, then there are those of us that argue it is better sooner than later so as to get herd immunity. It would be easier to quarantine a nursing home for 3 months really good than to try that for 12 or 15 months.
Those people who believe in herd immunity would tend to be Trump voters.
Also the longer the virus is in circulation the more chance it has to mutate to something more virulent or less virulent. The former does not bode well for us, so sooner is better than later for herd immunity.

For starters you have been a consistent user of the slur 'chuds.' The fact that you live in an urban area, whereas the rest of us may not has not dissuaded you from using the slur.
Also, I think this is key. As an English prof, you would think that you would recognize people's writing styles and would realize that people would recognize your style. You style has improved or degenerated to often lack capitalization, to often have no periods at the end of the sentences and many other tells.
So you pretend to be be outraged or maybe you are. But you go ahead and call people chuds while not considering that it might set them off.
On another matter you posted on another WNU blogpost about the coup that stood outside their residence, when protesters trespassed. I am sure you were outraged. Since you have posted, it has been found out that they are defense attourneys. I would hazard a guess that one of their most notable cases this or last year was a lawsuit against the police for an African-American client. These defense attourneys, who you were taught to hate, have done more for black people than you ever will. Will you apologize?
