Former National Security Advisor John Bolton's forthcoming memoir will paint a picture of 'chaos' in the White House and a president focused exclusively on his own reelection, the book's publisher is promising.
The book will lay out additional 'misconduct' beside the president's interactions with Ukraine – actions that led to Trump's impeachment trial in the Senate – and with an aggressive posture Bolton is describing as 'Game on.'
Trump is a person 'for whom getting reelected was the only thing that mattered,' Bolton writes.

some of us wait for the revelations to assess whether true or not. to bad mouth him in advance is simply a less than a mature response
Why it sounds like secret squirrel!
Many years ago I placed Bolton under the category of "Nothing is impossible for the man who doesn't have to do it." I was dismayed when Trump appointed the guy to his administration. I think Trump's assessment was correct then and still stands today.
Anon 10:38AM,
Bolton has been around for a long time. Those of you who must wait must be very young or didn't pay attention when Bolton was in Trump's administration and others and are not aware of Bolton's past which stretches back years.
Trump was correct in his assessment.
A lot of the base likes Bolton. They were pleased to seem him on the team. The base was not happy to see H. R. McMaster in the admin trying to scrub all references of Islam to Terror.
IMO 3 out 4 or 9 out of 10 people in the base will turn against Bolton. That number may be higher and absolutely will be higher, if Trump gets a 2nd turn. It will be quite lonely to be Bolton.
"some of us wait for the revelations to assess whether true or not. to bad mouth him in advance is simply a less than a mature response"
Bolton already has a track record, so to prejudge what come next is not immature.
Bolton is like a male version of Anne Coulter, who is accused of throwing red meat. Bolton and Coulter are right about a lot of things about world affairs and the liberals. But they are not user friendly. So Bolton got fired and Coulter dates her bodyguard.
You have to pick you battles and in the administration the president gets to pick not when of his lieutenants, who is an expert on this or that. If Bolton want to pick which battles to fight or how many at once, he can run for president and work with Congress.
The Iranians pick their battles. While they might have everything on simmer or low boil, they have an order of precedence. They say First the Little Satan and then the Big Satan. They realize they cannot go all out all at once against all their enemies. They set up an order of precedence. They pick their battles.
In some important ways Bolton is immature.

What a bunch of hypocrites. When this administration first hires these people that are the very best, the very very very best, the greatest best. As soon as they leave the administration for one reason or another they are the very worst people, the very very worst, the very greatest worst people.
Don't believe everything you read and hear, 3:34PM. I always prefer the bottom line. The rest is just hot air. Political hot air. As in "shovel ready jobs" or "If you like....", etc.
"When this administration first hires these people that are the very best, the very very very best, the greatest best."
Every admin (or any organization) says that.
Try again 3:34
