The Guardian: EU says China behind 'huge wave' of Covid-19 disinformation

Brussels shifts position by accusing Beijing for first time of running false campaigns

China has been accused by Brussels of running disinformation campaigns inside the European Union, as the bloc set out a plan to tackle a “huge wave” of false facts about the coronavirus pandemic.

The European commission said Russia and China were running “targeted influence operations and disinformation campaigns in the EU, its neighbourhood, and globally”. While the charge against Russia has been levelled on many occasions, this is the first time the EU executive has publicly named China as a source of disinformation.

Form the coronavirus overreaction to the riots/looting who are the biggest losers from all of this? I would say these are small business owners, police officers, people of the Christian faith, retailers, restaurants, farmers who couldn't sell all of their crop, ranchers who couldn't sell much of their livestock, travel and hospitality personnel, and non government personnel who were deemed "non essential." The biggest winners thus far have been ANTIFA, Black Lives Matter, government personnel of all types, the news media, Centers for Disease Control, Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx, Joe Biden as his exposure is limited, and the family of George Floyd who are set up to become as rich as people families by the names of Gates and Buffet. Additional winners are the African American community who will now get to see an increase over and above the already abundant programs that are already available to them at the expense of groups. Additionally no one in law enforcement to the extent it still exists is going to want to touch certain groups essentially leading to an avoid jail for free card for certain groups of people. If the cycle continues, expect ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter to receive still more clout.

I suspect none of this is an accident. The "losers" are much more likely to vote Republican and to support Trump whereas the "winners" appear much more likely to support Democrats. It's as though the policies were designed with the goal in mind to hurt certain groups that the elites just don't like or approve of.
