Times of Israel: Iranian Guards fire missile at mock aircraft carrier amid US tensions
Iran releases video showing military exercises held by paramilitary force in Strait of Hormuz, where American aircraft carrier passed through last week
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard fired a missile from a helicopter targeting a replica aircraft carrier in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, state television reported on Tuesday, an exercise aimed at threatening the US amid tensions between Tehran and Washington.
The drill, in a waterway through which 20 percent of all traded oil passes, underlines the lingering threat of military conflict between Iran and the US after last summer saw a series of incidents targeting oil tankers in the region. In January, a US drone strike killed a top Iranian general in Baghdad and Tehran responded by firing ballistic missiles targeting American forces in Iraq.

Its so funny seeing those midgets with long beards playing war games against a fake Aircraft carrier. They are like children! Especially funny is how they think this propaganda footage makes them look good! In reality, against the US, their puny armed forces would collapse faster than Saddam Hussain's military did.
This could be a legitimate test to a degree if the ayatoollah mock up carrier had the same gage and type of steel for its hull and in its structural members and the same compartmentalization.
That still doesn't take into effect damage control, ship's ammunition stores and other factors.
With the F35 as maligned as it is, it changes the seascape. A carrier does not have to be making way to launch. It can be dead in the water.
If you saturate a carrier groups defenses and eventually badly or mortally wound a carrier does not mean that you do not take enough or more damage from that group in return.
You've not watched the video have you?
The sides of the hull are completely open... There are more holes around the water line.
Yep, what a comedy act, it's like a video of sulvesyer stallone punching Mike Tyson while he is fast asleep, then declaring himself a heavyweight contender lol
You do not know much about warheads, armor, ship construction, and ballistics. You also have not seen WW2 carrier damage. But you got your daily does of war porn.
