BBC: 'Almost certain' Russians sought to interfere in 2019 UK election - Raab
Russians almost certainly sought to interfere in the 2019 UK general election through illicitly acquired documents, the government has said.
Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said any attempt to meddle in UK democracy was "completely unacceptable".
The documents - on UK-US trade discussions - emerged online and were used by Labour in the 2019 campaign.
A much-delayed report into allegations of wider Russian interference into UK democracy is due next week.
Labour said it condemned "any attempt by Russia, or any foreign power, to interfere in our country's democratic processes" and pledged to work to protect the nation's security.

WNU Editor: Apparently this is the interference that Russia is responsible for .... UK says Russia sought to interfere in 2019 election by spreading documents online (The Guardian). My response is .... maybe it was leaked by someone within the government. Bottom line. There is no evidence that Russia was responsible for this leak.

I have a hard time with this story.
The only way I can see the same way as the presstitutes and whores is as follows/
Assume that Russia got the documents through a British leaker or outright hacked them.
How would free trade hurt Labor or the Tories?
How would leaking the details of a trade agreement hurt either party?
I could see the leaking of a free trade agreement between Canada and America as damaging electoral chances. Two items pop into mind, lumber and dairy. If one side to another was seen as losing on a deal by an industry in the country, then the negotiators and thus a political party would be seen as weak. You would have to assume that the British were getting the shitty end of the stick in an upcoming trade deal that it would help Labor.
Since the strumpets and street walkers are not howling about that, it must be something else.
Maybe it is simply that a new free trade deal will boost the British economy and that helps the Tories. So people can anticipate the same or better economic activity. I could see, where Labor would be put out.
They favor a bad economy to get into power or they want to paint the picture of a bad economy. How else do the get to go Munchausen on people?
If leaking an upcoming trade deal helps the Tories, a Tory partisan could have done it as well as the Russians.
In fact the Russian would rather have the Labor in charge, because they would Merkelize Britain and destroy it.
Me thinks that the ladies of the evening and Labor doth protest too much.
Russia would never do bad things!
The Russians would do bad things.
But, how does revelation of a trade deal in the worlds hurt the ruling party?
- If they have no deal after negotiating?
- It becomes apparent the are negotiating a bad deal?
The Russians or some other people could publish that NIH sent out an RFQ to Netsuite and SAP. How would that hurt Labor?
In reality it is a tempest in a teapot, but modern day journalists are such Yellow Journalist they can start riots. Yellow Journalist started the Spanish-American War. Journalists are feeling rather blue that they have not fucked up things that badly in a while.
American Journalism fucked up The Phillipines.
