Military Times: Military’s COVID-19 cases growing at twice the nationwide rate
More than 4,100 service members have tested positive for coronavirus since the July 1, according to the Defense Department’s latest statistics, a rise of about 33 percent in the last 10 days. That is more than twice the rate of growth nationwide during the same period, 16 percent, as the U.S. more than once broke its daily records for new cases.
There were three new deaths, all of contractors or civilians, during this period as well.
Defense officials have attributed the recent rise in military cases both to increased testing and to the lifting of shelter-in-place orders in some force concentration areas, while expressing faith that local commanders are enforcing protective measures like social distancing and face covering for their troops.

And you should see the restrictions that are being put in place. Take a look at the lll MEF Facebook page to get an idea. Hopefully these type of restrictions will help impede the speed. Something to note, Japan is showing low numbers but it's not testing nearly as many people as other countries (% wise).
Japan isn't testing as many people. This isn't surprising. In contrast the US is doing the opposite. We're testing more people than all the world combined and there's much evidence our "experts" are manipulating the numbers to pad the numbers!!

Japanese authorities say they are "shocked" after a significant coronavirus outbreak at two US Marine bases in the country.
61 Marines have been infected with the virus in recent days, spread across two bases in Okinawa prefecture, home to about 26,000 US service personnel.
"We now have strong doubts that the US military has taken adequate disease prevention measures," Okinawa governor Denny Tamaki said at a press conference.
Okinawa has only had around 150 confirmed coronavirus cases in total as of July 10, although it is unclear whether the 61 US Marines infected are included in the total.
