Reuters: U.S. targets Chinese Communist Party members in possible travel ban: source
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Trump administration is considering banning travel to the United States by all members of the Chinese Communist Party and their families, a person familiar with the matter said on Thursday, an idea that China dismissed as absurd.
Senior officials discussing the matter had begun circulating a draft of a possible presidential order, but deliberations were at an early stage and the issue had not yet been brought to President Donald Trump, the source said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
The discussions, first reported by the New York Times, center on whether to deny visas to more than 90 million Chinese in what would be one of Washington’s toughest actions yet in a widening feud with Beijing that some have likened to a new Cold War.

In the eyes of most Americans it is China that bears responsibility for the pandemic that has killed 139,000 Americans (and counting) and the destruction of the US economy. In this context, the Chinese should consider a visa ban as light punishment.

The Chinese leadership lied. That is a given.
But
If they had been truthful would the virus been more like SARS or morel like COVID 19?
I think fewer people would be dead up to this point giving us more time to adjust therapeutics and come u with a vaccine. The latter may never happen, but the former is happening and would have had more of a chance to save more people with earlier warning.
Not many people in the press anyways are worrying about the origin. I do not worry much about the origin, unless it was made in a lab. I was watching an episode filmed pre-pandemic of "River Monsters" and Jeremy Wade pointed out the wet markets and saying it was the safest way for people to store food in places without refrigeration. The country he was in was not in Asia.

People not being able to say goodbye to their loved ones
Bodies cremated
Trillions and trillions of economic damages
Here's an easy prediction, WNU.. it will not end well for China if they do not humbly apologise and pay for the damages and lives lost
They still lie.
People still die.
And we haven't even talked about the suicides. And all the tens of thousands or more people who died on top of the 500k who couldn't get medical treatment because hospitals were flooded
2mn+ will die of hunger. Likely more.
It will certainly not end well for China
This is an act of war and insult on top.
