Wait for facts, remember Richard Jewell.

Makes sense, there are lots of rules for construction; welding, electrical etc that prevent fires from starting in the first place. Something this big would have been complete incompetence or intentional.

It has been a month, so it is not exactly like they are jumping to conclusions.

Richard Jewell was a suspect within days. This has been a month.

I do not think they vane get a conviction unless the person made statements to at least 2 people before or after about how something needs to be done. Even then I do not think they can get a conviction for being "Disgruntled."

Of where is a bank transfer or a a large amount of cash, but they would have already had him in custody unless they wanted additional evidence.

The list of crew is small as it was a skeleton crew and some would be working away from that area of the ship or with others.

May 1st reaction was that it was a sailor or yard worker with liberal affiliation. There have been a fair number of activists in the military since the 1960s.

I remember an African-American E9 telling me of q black E7-E9 in the early to mid 70s, who use to roll into base, when he wanted to in the morning, agitates for a few hours and then roll out. Never did any work. You will also have you NOI supporters in the Navy. The navy will work harder to weed out any budding neo-NAZIs than they will any Farakhhan supporters.
