There is a military coup in Mali, which brings up a few points.

- The commonly accepted lore is that military coups are always bad. But no denunciations?

- Mali has an Al Qaeda problem. So do Niger, Nigeria, Cameroon, Libya and Algeria. No interest on how this hurts or helps that fight?

- A fabled, historical/archaeological site, Timbuktu, has been slighted and is under threat. Not one BLM, Black Caucus or other person can comment on this? People of African ancestry in America do not give a freak about African history being destroyed?

Timbuktu was on the dark side of the moon when I was a kid. I didn't have the slightest idea about it. Some fabled ancient place of the French Foreign Legion novels or somesuch that swept you away to mysterious places for a thin dime and that could be found at second hand stores owned and managed by elderly grandmother types who piled them in cardboard boxes. 3 for 25 cents.

Timbuktu made it into the CIV game series. At least that many people know of it. That game is probably the only reason that maybe 1% of Americans know of it.

It is not from public schools LOL!
