The interview took place at CIA headquarters and lasted for eight hours, said Nick Shapiro, Brennan's former deputy chief of staff and senior adviser.

'Brennan was informed by Mr. Durham that he is not a subject or a target of a criminal investigation and that he is only a witness to events that are under review,' Shapiro said in a statement.

Brennan led the CIA under the Obama administration as it and other intelligence agencies arrived at the conclusion that Russia had interfered in the 2016 election to benefit Donald Trump.

Happy to see Brennan is a perjury trap of his own.

"Brennan was informed by Mr. Durham that he is not a subject or a target of a criminal investigation"

That is what they told Flynn and we saw what happened.

Caveat:

While Durham and team might not have gone into the meeting with Brennan being the subject of investigation, after they review his answers Brennan might be.

Maybe Durham and the team know they have the goods on Brennan, but Brennan won't be prosecuted for the same reason as Obama. Too high up; it would hurt faith in the leaders.

But interviewing Brennan might give Durham et al more ammo to prosecute the McCabes and others of of the world. Te McCabes an other might be upset that Brennan ordered it or greenlighted it and then left them out to dry.

We'll see. No one ought to hold their breathe.

IMO asshole Brennan will get away scot free.
