CBS: Biden and Harris call for three-month nationwide mask mandate
Former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris are calling for a three-month nationwide mask mandate to limit the spread of coronavirus.
During a briefing by public health experts in Wilmington, Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, told reporters that all the nation's governors should require this.
"Every single American should be wearing a mask when they're outside for the next three months, at a minimum. Every governor should mandate mandatory mask-wearing," Biden said, suggesting that widespread mask use could save 40,000 lives over the next three months. "Let's institute a mask mandate nationwide starting immediately, and we will save lives."

I always feel uncomfortable when political leaders make political statements (i.e. Biden's remark that you must be patriotic by wearing a mask) on what should solely be a medical and scientific call. And as for wearing a mask. I always wear a mask when I am in a public place and where social distancing is not possible. But wearing a mask outside?!?!? And when I am alone?!?!?!? That makes no sense. That is why I am not surprised that no data that was provided to back this claim by the former Vice President and Senator Kamala Harris. They also refused to take any questions. And on a final note. Who will enforce such a mandate?

Biden cannot do simple arithmetic. How does one expect him to read scientific or medical studies?
Kamala does not need to read studies. She is a trained chameleon, who morphs into whatever policy or physical positions in order to climb the ladder.

Confused when Americans act foolishly in Old Quebec but also disagrees with a mask mandate. Clearly leaving it up to the individual has been an excellent solution, let us keep going with that.

Masks don't work. Hawaii and the Philippines just had massive outbreaks and they both have the strictest mask policies on the planet.
