Daniel Greenfield is of the opinion that the possibility of a Joe Biden presidency forced the UAE and Israel to come to terms.
They are afraid that Slow Joe and/or the ever malleable Kamala Harris would follow in Obma's footsteps and support Iran.
I have read pundits who have opined that Obama funded the outbreak of civil war in Yemen via Iran. To be sure Yemen was not ever that stable, but Iran flush with cash providing seed money sealed the deal. Saudi Arabia and UAE basically see themselves as cleaning up Iran's adventurism and mess in Yemen.
