Arab League Refuses To Condemn The Israel-UAE Peace Deal

Al Jazeera: Arab League: Ministers agree not to condemn UAE-Israel deal

After three-hour talks, some Arab countries attempted to add provisions to give legitimacy to the normalisation deal.

Palestinian leaders won renewed Saudi support for Palestinian statehood on Wednesday but failed to persuade the Arab League to condemn last month's normalisation deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

At a video conference of foreign ministers, the Palestinian leadership softened its censure of the UAE over the US-brokered August 13 accord - to be formalised at a signing ceremony at the White House next week - in the hope of getting more Arab support, but to no avail.

"Discussions regarding this point were serious. It was comprehensive and took some time. But it did not lead in the end to agreement about the draft resolution that was proposed by the Palestinian side," Arab League Assistant Secretary-General Hossam Zaki told reporters.

According to a Palestinian diplomatic source, the Arab League dropped the draft resolution condemning the controversial Israeli-UAE agreement.

WNU Editor: The Palestinians are in shock .... Palestinians Reeling from Arab League Rebuff (Hamodia). They should not be. A number of Arab states have been signalling for years that they want to move on, and the UAE is the first to make that major step. This is also a story that the Western media is downplaying. They should not. This agreement is the template for other Arab countries to join in.

Another evil Trump positive move in the Middle East and another black eye to the empty suit known as obama whose obvious bias in favor of muz-lums of old
has so far been been swept into the dustbin of history.
Get on board paleo-stinians. Train's leaving. Keep supporting Hamas and be left at the station.

Dumb comment
Israel has been working hand in glove with a number of Arab states for years--and yes, under Obama. They are now public about it since the big enemy for both nations is Iran.

Another Dumb comment by Frederick R. Lapides at 0716.

Working hand in glove covertly is not the same as trading openly. You could get riots in UAE, Saudi Arabia or elsewhere with open diplomatic relations. Say that is not so Fred.

"Intelligence was an early point of contact between Israel and the UAE, dating to at least the 1970s and continuing ever since, according to Yossi Melman, longtime intelligence columnist for the daily Haaretz.

Every head of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency since then has had a relationship with his counterpart in the UAE. And as Israeli intelligence officials left the service, many went into security businesses that found ways of selling goods and services to the Emirates and creating some of the first and most important commercial ties between the countries. The pace of those contacts accelerated after Israel and the Palestinians signed the Oslo peace accords in 1994."

What Fred purposefully fails to point out that these ties go back before Obama. Fred had a purpose. One purpose was to protect one of the saints of his religion. Also he wanted to give credit to Obama for something happening for decades, while denying the same to George W. Bush and Trump.

Fred might be better off remembering form day to day and form month to month what is written in a paper like the Washington Compost rather than for the most part acting like
Lucy Whitmore (Drew Barrymore) or a citizen of 1984.

Even a rag like the Washington Compost can be useful, if a person notice how it shifts its narrative over time. And occasionally papers like the Compost accidently swerve into real journalism.

What a spastic idiot you are. Obama was notoriously pro-Muslim and anti-Christian. Obama saw his church not as a church but solely as a place to meet and greet people and to make connections. Period.

It was noted that that notorious asshole Obama let in plenty Muslim Syrians, but not persecuted Syrian Christians.

Then there is the secret picture hidden by the press of Obama at a meet and greet with Louis Farakhan.

Could this long-lost photo have derailed Obama’s 2008 campaign?

The Palsisitnians are paleo-stinians. they tried to take over Jordan

"The PLO's strength in Jordan grew, and by the beginning of 1970, groups within the PLO had started to openly call for the overthrow of the Hashemite monarchy.

Acting as a state within a state, the fedayeen disregarded local laws and regulations, and even attempted to assassinate King Hussein twice—leading to violent confrontations between them and the Jordanian Army"

Indeed THE PALEO-Stinians.
