The Hill: Trump, Pentagon collide over anti-diversity training push
President Trump's efforts to appeal to his conservative base by banning certain diversity training is butting up against the Pentagon’s efforts to build a more inclusive military.
The conflict has been prominent this week, as Trump signed an executive order that extended his administration's ban on training involving race- and sex-based discrimination to include the military, federal contractors and grant recipients.
Days later, top Pentagon officials were extolling the virtues of diversity to service members at a virtual town hall and touting the department’s efforts to fight racial bias.

WNU Editor: It looks like the Pentagon has decided to ignore President Trump's executive order that bans training involving race- and sex-based discrimination. I guess they are calculating that President Trump will ignore them because he is focused on the election, and that in the end it will not make any difference because he will lose the election in November.

You would think that north of 50% of boys have sisters, When a family sends both the girl and the boy to college or have such expectations, you would think that the boy grows up seeped in equality. I would say that assumption is strong and logical enough that scientific study would be needed to debunk it. Favoring boys say 52 to 48 is not enough to come up with a government program. If it is 5% of less than an government cure will be worse than the diseased.
So the DoD is taking bets based on pollsters. Since politics is combat and polling is intel or supposed to be has the DoD analyzed the battlespace. How accurate are those polls. Are the polls more propaganda than intel? The Democrat bias in polls is consistent in the last few decades. At the start of every season the show Democrats ahead by double digits and it always narrows in the last 3 months to the low single digits. Should the Pentagon be backing horses that need that much propaganda effort to win?

Trump might not be pure, he has had extramarital stuff in the past and most American presidents have before or during the presidency. George H.W Bush grabbed ass in his 90s. Backing Biden tells me that military brass does not believe in civilian rule. They believe in rule by bureaucrat, mandarins or experts? Dr Fauci's word is enough to lockdown the country and the military can put a piece of paper in front of the president to sign to make it legit and engage in any military action they want.

I was in the American army when it was segregated; in 1948, Truman integrated the military. I was again back in the army in 1950 and served in an integrated military.
It was a few years later that our nation saw that integration could work, and LBJ integrated the South.

The military may have desegregated during the Truman administration, but things were having such a negative effect on warfighting that in the 1960s DOD founded the Defense Race Relations Institute to smooth things over. The institute, now called the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute and located at Patrick AFB in Florida, has been pushing Critical Race Theory on the rest of the military for decades.
I unfortunately attended a class there a few years back. The scholarship was shoddy. History was viewed through a prism of their own ideology. I was there when "Don't ask, don't tell" was in force, and they were actively pushing for homosexuals to be celebrated in the military--totally against regulations, but politically correct.
Everyone started off drawing a picture of how they viewed themselves. I'm an infantryman and thought this was bizarre.
The classes consisted of showing films of atrocities and soliciting guity feelings from non-minority attendees. Literally, a kleenex box was passed around (I refused.)
All students are monitored for "correct" responses and behavior by faculty members behind a one-way mirror.
Students who used the restroom without asking permission were chased down. I was told that a student had become upset, left the classroom, and attempted to commit suicide.
They were actively trying/pressuring to get white students to commit to being a "Strong White Ally."
A strange service school indeed. It didn't add one thing to our warfighting capability; in fact, it was very divisive.

I think if you look at the papers, you will find mixed units perform badly. Notions of rape, of division among units, and then we look at actual operations. From WW2 with military units of only blacks performing very well, of differences in culture playing vital roles and that co operative rivalry.
Then we look at the disasters of Vietnam, someone above highlights 1950's which would indicate Korean wars.
End of the day, when i got into battle i want to know my brother beside me is beside me because hes as good as me, not because he/she/it ticked some racial sexist box.
