Axios: Trump faces surprising cash crunch
Money concerns are very real for President Trump's campaign — an unusual predicament for a sitting president, and one that worries veteran Republican operatives, with Trump so far behind in swing states as the race climaxes.
Why it matters: The campaign's view is that Trump will get his message out, and he depends less on paid media than normal politicians. But the number of states Trump has to worry about has actually grown, and Joe Biden's massive August fundraising haul has given his campaign a lift as early voting begins.
The New York Times leads today's paper with a big Labor Day scene-setter with several intriguing references to money problems for Trump:

WNU Editor: The media and the pundits were saying the same thing about President Trump in 2016 when Hillary Clinton was vastly outspending then candidate Trump. Bottom line. Money helps, but if your candidate and his/her policies do not resonate with the voting public, all the money in the world is not going to change that.

Just tells you who all the rich people are backing.
To that extent, I much prefer Canada's federal model where unions and corporations are barred from donating and individuals are capped at around $1,500.
"Just tells you who all the rich people are backing... "
Name one thing, anything Trump's ever done in his life that's helped, working-class folks. Good luck.

Give them jobs?
Anon (2:27),
The combination of regulatory reforms and tax curs enabled us to achieve the best economy we've ever had. The ridiculous government response to COVID-19 as led and controlled by the likes of Fauci and Birx took it away.
Also, as a builder/hotel magnate his organization employs large numbers of people with high paying jobs with fabulous benefits.
Is the Trump campaign broke? His model is based on large numbers of small donations from middle to lower middle class individuals and not so much on unions, large corporations, or mega donors as his competitors are. These people have been disproportionately hurt by the government response to COVID-19. So, in this sense donations are likely down somewhat, however I strongly suspect that Trump is FAR wealthier than is generally known. As such, he can self finance on ways that Biden or HRC cannot. So the notion that his campaign is broke is wishful thinking on the part of his adversaries.
Почтальон, ты, черт возьми, шлюха, выплескивающая еще больше нагруженного водаком дерьма, которое Путин хочет от твоего наполненного дерьмом рта
Well who is most affected by the Wuhan virus?
The poor and elderly/ sick around the world. Same in the US. Mostly elderly. That's a big chunk of Trump supporters already there, but biggest hit was probably in NYC so it evens out (NYC is more Democrat run)
BUT... the Wuhan virus is mostly focused on economic damage. And psychological damage.
In terms of economic damage, the flyover states are extremely hard hit. They had to toss much of their food. Remember the videos? Emptied milk tanks. Millions of chickens slaughtered.
And this came after China had targeted the Trump supporting farmers before. We talk about the barber shops. Sure they too. Many of them Trump supporters. But where the Cameras are no longer rolling is in those fly over states, half the country, that already suffered from China's previous economic attacks.
And they're out of money. They love Trump. They know exactly what's going on, better than any of those NY Times analysts who're basically 25yrs old and never dealt with hard life or looked beyond their monitor.
They're desk jockeys. They are out of touch. They're intellectually lazy and morally corrupt, projecting their city attitudes and angst on the rest of the country. They condemn half the country as racist, with straight face. They call themselves progressive, inclusive. They pray at the altar of software and data, by that I mean they hold technology over humanity. They're out of touch with nature. They don't understand the struggle of the common man, nor the nature of the land. They work in Starbucks and small apartments, they make fun of people who work with their hands. They barely ever have seen a full night sky, shimmering with stars. They don't dream about our potential, but shout ever changing dogmas. They prioritise HR bullet points over the nature of man. They call everyone toxic and call themselves inclusive. They call for the formation of mobs and for the harassment of the intellectually opposed.
They're the scum of America.
But we Republicans love them still, forgive them and vote Trump with a proud smile. Knowing the pendulum swings back.
His Twitter account is worth hundreds of millions. Let the others play their TV ads.
Put up the wall and make the illegals stop pouring in causing tax dollars mis spent. Push back on China; bring back jobs, cutting regs, etc etc etc. I doubt you could come back and let us know what Joe has done.
Wow, Fred has not posed here yet to gloat? Amazing
@9.05
Aren't you Fred? You post enough to keep his name alive and relevant, which is awfully nice of you.
Fred was here a day ago. In fact Fred pulled a Mitch McConnell. Fred's wife fought for him much as Mitch's wife fought back a the restraurant incident. Glad to know 2 cowards have their wome make the stand.
@8:06
I'm pretty sure you're the same person as 9.05.
You need help. Sounds like you have some kind of mental problem going on, certainly an unhealthy obsession. Mental health is important, so you should perhaps consider to step away from being a 'keyboard warrior' and look after yourself.
