It means that individually and as a nation we will have to try harder and not only harder but smarter.
The only way to keep a virus or bacteria form ripping through the elderly population every decade or two is to defeat old age. Thor could not do it.
Talk among new college grads, who actually have real degrees is that old age is a disease. You are certainly see more of those articles popping up and they are more realistic than they were 4 decades ago.
Still entropy is a hard thing to beat and maybe a gametes is the only way to beat it.
