Commentaries, Analysis, And Editorials -- October 21, 2020

These figures show the year-on-year change in GDP for some of the world's richest countries, with China's economy larger than it was a year ago while Western economies including Britain and America have seen massive decline

How galling it is to see China bouncing back from the global pandemic that it unleashed.

While the rest of the world wrestles with fear, mistrust, unemployment, recession, stagnation, non-Covid health catastrophes, countless blighted lives and a ‘second wave’ of the virus, China is set to enter 2021 stronger than it was in January 2020.

That was the month when Chinese complacency, deceit and the ruthless diktat of the Communist Party allowed coronavirus to get its first foothold among humankind.

While China's handling of the virus was?likely substandard, the "lockdowns" are the real problem. China did not order "western" countries to do this. It is very likeky that future historians will look back on the "lockdowns" as the stupidest move governments ever made.

Bposter what a horribly stupid assessment
China to this day has not released crucial information on the virus, has silenced whistle blowers, had caused the pandemic, made the pandemic worse by sending the planes to our countries and selling faulty PPE equipment, on top they have bombarded the west with videos of nightmarish super killer virus scenarios with people dropping dead in the streets to amplify our response and on and on. In my book that makes them guilty in the first degree, was an act of war and ideally will be treatted as such , yes militarily. On top, this came after they had already stolen trillions from us.

No sir, China is guilty guilty guilty and I hope every member of the CCP will be hung publicly

"Stupid assessment..." Perhaps this is true. Deliberate attempt would need to be proven as opposed to sloppy handling. At this point, I find myself in full agreement with you on the Chinese propaganda aspect. They know how stupid some of our leaders are so they took advantage. Again, China did not order the "lockdowns." This has been and continues to be the primary problem. These were and continue to be self inflicted AND some of them are STILL AT IT!!

Maybe we have no choice but war with China. Frankly I have to assess that neither our military nor our leaders are up to that challenge right now. I hope I'm wrong. Furthermore we'd be going into this conflict with out any real allies.

What I found interesting about this graph is that while America has been hit hard here we've not suffered as much as some other countries have. Yet the media has repeatedly told us that we've done worse than anyone else while primarily blaming Trump.

I attribute this to several factors. 1 ) after his initial colossal blunder of sucking up to Fauci Trump has supplied calm steady leadership. In trusting Fauci he dug us and him a VERY DEEP hole while pouring tons of dirt on tjo of it!! His leadership since the end of May has been a Ray of hope. 2.)We Amerucans have always been very resourceful. 3.) States like TX where I live have stumbled onto what I believe should've been the approach from the start. Keep your economy open as much as possible only intervening when a hospital system is in danger of being overwhelmed.

Right now this seems to be working but it is important not to get cocky with this thing. I remember when Europeans were raking us over the proverbial coals regarding this. Now see where they are today relative to us. The disease is real and can be deadly but the overwhelming hysteria is entirely man-made.

But hey! That's good news for off-shoring and Left-wing internationalist businesses like Apple, Google, and Microsoft. Which is why the Left-stream newzzz media routinely look the other way when it comes to their buddies in China. The West was played us like grandpa's fiddle and we fell for it, hook, line, and stinker. Actually, WE didn't "fall" for it, it was all part of the globalist plan. But that's another topic.

I might also have to question the efficacy of what China is reporting for economic growth. There has been numerous reporting suggesting China routinely overstates their numbers. The authors of the article seems to take these growth numbers at face value. I'm not so sure I would.
