Here’s the evidence that Joe Biden isn’t doing that much better than Hillary Clinton.
If the election were held today, Joe Biden would probably win. But there are strong signs that the race is much, much closer than you’d think from the news coverage. Donald Trump has a real shot at being reelected.
First, the president is actually more popular now than on the day he was elected. Yes, that’s right. His personal favorability rating around election day in 2016 was 37.5%. Now, it is 43.2%. There are, in fact, hundreds of thousands of Americans (if not millions) who have grown fonder of Trump.

WNU Editor: The Washington monthly is a liberal/progressive web site. They are now noticing the disconnect between the polls and how people vote. My only criticism of the Washington Monthly post is that they ignored Hillary Clinton's "unlikability" numbers. The majority of Americans did not like her. Joe Biden does not have that handicap. President Trump does.

Biden's handicap is that he's a senile old white man in a party that has near zero enthusiasm to vote for him other than he's not bad orange man.
A better question to ask is "does Joe Biden have a serious chance of winning?" The pollsters with sound track records are either predicting a Trump victory or a very close race.
If not for the cheat factor, I'd say definitively "no, Biden does not have a serious chance of winning." In the past, Republicans might have meekly taken cheating directed against them. If it does become a factor, I would not expect Trump or his supporters to take this lying down. As such, the real question is "does Biden have a serious chance to win?"
