Ethiopia Accuses President Trump Of Inciting War By Suggesting That Egypt Could Blow Up Its Grand Dam

US President Donald Trump predicted that Egypt would "blow up" a mega-dam that Ethiopia is building on the Nile.

Neighboring countries have criticized plans for the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.

Ethiopia demanded Saturday that the US "clarify" remarks by President Donald Trump in which he said Egypt may try to "blow up" the controversial Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam currently under construction in the East African country.

Ethiopian Foreign Minister Gedu Andargachew summoned US Ambassador Mike Raynor to demand an explanation, according to a statement from the ministry.

In the US if you live west of the Missouri River, water rights are a big deal.

The US and Mexico had extensive talks over the Colorado River.

People high on drugs say wacky things. He's really high and hyper obese. It's a combination working out great for him.

Believe what you want to believe 1:19.

Maybe Trump reiterating what Egypt says does few things.

1) By talking about, the American public and The Swamp might become aware of the situation. Granted parts of the Swamp were aware of it before the Prez spoke. Captain Obvious there. But The Potomac Bottoms is so fixated on the upcoming election that they might not have given the situation over the Nile the proper attention.

2) Maybe by stating the truth that Egypt is mad, he is telling the Ethiopian PM/president to negotiate more. Not to give up anything but to negotiate more.

Process is not usually as important as The Kerry's and others make it out to be. But here it is important.

It might be cheaper in the long run to fill the dam slower than to repair war damage.

The US has skin in the game. If the Egyptians beseech the Sudanese, Eritrea, and Somalia to help them, the US might lose ground in their efforts in Sudan and Somalia. Or we might have to spend precious political capital. War sets back US efforts.

The Kerry's. Try to find a Motel 6 and McDonalds Happy Meal receipt in their tax return. Likewise the Clintons with their famous foundation and others who reside in the clouds.

But hey! Their "sacrifice" is a gain for mankind and the universe.

Any videos of Merkel from the 1980's and 1990's in Kremlin vaults?

She was not always old, fat, and ugly.

All of Egypt's drinking water comes from the confluence of the Blue Nile (Ethiopia) and White Nile (Sudan) - AKA: The Nile. Ethiopia made a big mistake nuzzling China for the building of this dam. And now back-filling the reservoir before the dam is complete. Sudan is pissed. Egypt is pissed. Ethiopia's 4,000 year old dream of damming the Nile is dashed.

This dam is damned.

Back filling will decrease water flow. But if you fill it slow why not? Why not and avoid a war.

Now that you mention China I think the Ethiopians are eager to fill it fast to make interest payments to China.

So between a rock and a hard place.

Wait until Egypt figures they are going to lose oil and gas from this dam!
