U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper has revealed new details about extremely ambitious plans to increase the size of the U.S. Navy's fleets to more than 500 ships and submarines, including unmanned types, within the next 25 years. He also offered some specifics about how the Pentagon hopes to pay for this dramatic increase in force structure, including a significant increase in the Navy's base budget starting as early as the next Fiscal Year.
Esper provided the new information on what is now being called Battle Force 2045 in a virtual talk he gave from the offices of the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments (CSBA) think tank in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 6, 2020. .... All told, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Navy seem to be intent on setting a goal of having a total fleet with more than 500 ships in the coming decades. However, from everything we know so far, there are serious hurdles they will need to overcome first in getting anywhere near to realizing their vision.

The US has to be careful here.. China's Covid virus did cost them already several trillion USD and likely will top USD 10 trillion GDP losses accumulated over a decade, not to speak about the compounding effects, such as suicide rates, loss of life quality, hammered middle class Roth a perceived destruction of the American dream, civil unrest etc etc
And this is after China already stole trillions and trillions from the US it's European partners and even the Russian military was stolen from recently. It's incredible really end the mafia in China, several thousand families and their members get filthy rich. I mean rich rich. Billions and billions and billions.
And your people cannot afford a knee operation.
If this theft and injustice is not addressed with global resolve, we will all become second class citizens. Our rulers will muzzle our voices in order to not to have to answer questions how this trillions of debt and theft and mass murder and injustice is resolved and quickly so.
A few billion missing..ok... we saw China as friend and get the cultural differences. But terms of trillions in damages and theft and not to speak of murder. It's enough.
We are at war and have been for quite some time. Let's be honest about it, the cancer of this earth is China and the World must unite to stay free. Ww wish China no harm but these issues, along with their concentration camps, forced sterilisation programs/ ethnic cleansing, and land grabs... China has become a pervasive threat to our lives and if we don't unite they'll take everything from us. Maybe unleash another virus and try to sell us masks they bought up prior. The sentencing for such behaviour would be severe in court if any human behaved in such a way
