President Trump Will Not Participate In A Virtual Debate

 * President Donald Trump said he will not participate in a debate with Democratic nominee Joe Biden in a 'virtual' format
 * 'That's not accessible to us. I beat him easily in the first debate,' Trump said Thursday morning
 * He added: 'No, I'm not gonna waste my time in a virtual debate'
 * Biden's campaign said he would still hold an independent town hall event next Thursday if Trump refuses to participate in the debate
 * They also demanded the October 22 debate be changed to a town hall so Trump is still forced to field questions from voters in a town hall style debate
 * The Commission on Presidential Debates announced the shift in formats Thursday as the president recuperates following his coronavirus diagnosis
 * The second debate initially was set to take place in-person in Miami, Florida next week

Donald Trump said Thursday morning he will not participate in a virtual debate with Democratic nominee Joe Biden – as the president claimed he has been 'cured' of coronavirus.

'That's not accessible to us. I beat him easily in the first debate,' Trump lamented in an interview with Fox Business Network minutes after the bipartisan commission that hosts the debates announced it would be shifting the format to virtual.

WNU Editor: I have seen virtual debates before. Even participated in one a few years ago. It is just not the same as a debate where the participants are facing each other.

But there has been a virtual US Presidential debate before. The third debate between Nixon and Kennedy was done virtually in 1960, and IMHO was done well (see video below).

I think this is a tactical decision by the biden camp. Understandable. Trump was difficult to control and biden appeared dull and unexciting to me in their "debate". Basically he couldn't match Trump's dynamic, irritating and vote losing as I felt it to be.

More trolling.

Acknowledging a positive and immediately turning it into a negative.

I would expect Trump to interrupt Biden every tome he tells a lie.

* Romney told the truth about Ben Ghazi and Candy Crowley interrupted him.

* Joe Biden interrupted Paul Ryan 82 times in the 21012 VP debates.

So spare us your concern trolling and go do something positive like donating your body parts to Xi so he can sell them for profit.

That's because he is a 74 year old toddler that takes his toys and leaves when he does not get his way.

You could be right except that the Leftwing press corp was so in your face picking a moderator that they picked Joe Biden's intern in which case you would be the toddler.

You could be 74, we don't know. But that you acting like a a senile 74 year old is very plausible.

Former top GOP fundraiser Elliot Broidy charged for foreign lobbying

Elliot Broidy, the former deputy finance chairman of the Republican National Committee, appears set to plead guilty to conspiracy to act as an unregistered foreign agent by lobbying the Trump administration to drop an investigation into the massive Malaysian embezzlement scheme 1MDB, according to a court filing.

Why it matters: Broidy is the latest 2016 Trump campaign associate to face criminal charges, joining former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, deputy chairman Rick Gates, chief executive Steve Bannon, adviser Michael Flynn, outside adviser Roger Stone and fellow deputy finance chairman Michael Cohen.

Broidy is accused of leveraging his "access to and perceived influence" with President Trump and the administration in order to secure payments from Malaysian businessman Jho Low, who is not named in the indictment.
Low has separately been charged for his role in "orchestrating and executing a multi-billion-dollar embezzlement scheme from 1MDB." Broidy is accused of lobbying the Justice Department to drop the investigation without registering as a foreign agent.
Broidy is also accused of lobbying the Trump administration to deport wealthy Chinese dissident Guo Wengui, an associate of Steve Bannon, back to China.

OLD SAYING: when you are losing the game change the rules. Trump announced he would not do virtual debate. He is down in polls so this would have been hail mary debate. He turned it down. Now Biden too. Trump loses on this change of the game

Mitch McConnell says he hasn’t gone near White House since August because Donald Trump and his aides refused to wear masks or socially distance

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell admitted Thursday that he hasn't been to the White House in two months
He said the White House has approached the coronavirus crisis differently than the Senate where they 'wear a mask and practice social distancing'
McConnell's comments come as President Donald Trump and a number of his White House and political aides have contracted the coronavirus
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had said Wednesday, 'I wouldn't go anywhere near the White House'

If the polls are to believed that Biden is way ahead, then, on the surface at least, this does not make sense for Trump to skip the debate. After all it would seem he needs it more than Biden does. "If the polls are accurate..." are the operative words here. This could be a negotiating ploy to get different terms. Perhaps it works similar to how Trump said he was done negotiating on a new stimulus bill. Now I am seeing some blurbs that suggest the parties may be about to start negotiating again. By threatening to walk away Trump may have gotten the Democrats to take positions or to consider positions that he believes are more reasonable. My tentative prediction is the debate will be back on by the beginning of next week.

Three weeks ago, a news story caught the attention of Dawn Capp, a Texas math teacher. A former model had accused President Trump of assault, the latest in a long line of sexual misconduct complaints against him. At the United States Open tennis tournament in 1997, the woman told The Guardian, he groped and forcibly kissed her.

Ms. Capp voted for Mr. Trump in 2016. But she immediately believed the story, she said in a telephone interview, because she had heard it more than two decades ago from Amy Dorris, the woman making the allegation and one of Ms. Capp’s oldest friends.

The Trump campaign has called Ms. Dorris’s account “totally false.” “This is just another pathetic attempt to attack President Trump right before the election,” Jenna Ellis, a legal adviser to the Trump campaign, said in a statement.

In the digital age, you would think that the clerk would be 100% efficient as a transcriptionist, but Clerk # Fails.

Wingnuts on the Left changed the rules, when the moderator is preferentially chosen from liberals and does not moderate, but takes the side of the Left.

Sorry Fred L., but that bus left town a long time ago.

A) Candy Crowley aid Obama ion 2012

B) Joe Biden interrupted Paul Ryan o 2013 82 times and libshits had no problem with it. Now when Trump interrupts Slow Joe there is a problem. Hypocrisy much?

It is a wonder that you have a significant other. Or maybe you don't. You have an 'other' and eye candy on a computer. ;)
