U.S. Covid-19 Cases Surging -- News Updates October 18, 2020

Across the US, COVID-19 cases are up 29 percent in the past 14 days, however the total number of deaths continues to trend downward nationally. Despite COVID cases consistently rising since September, the number of deaths has not surged as might have been expected. This suggest that doctors are now better treating the COVID-19, as more is known about the virus and new therapies and drugs are implemented 


 * Coronavirus cases continue to soar across the US; Friday's numbers were up 10 percent on the day before, while numbers are up 29 percent in two weeks 
 * States such as Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana are seeing record-breaking spikes 
 * Many small hospitals in rural communities are struggling to cope with the surge 
 * Despite a surge in cases, deaths continue to trend downward, suggesting doctors are now better treating the COVID-19 

The United States has recorded its highest daily number of COVID-19 cases in almost three months, with infection numbers soaring across the Midwest. 

On Friday, 69, 156 Americans tested positive to the virus - the most in a single day since July. 

The number marked a shocking ten percent increase from the day before, where just under 63,000 Americans tested positive.

These numbers are meaningless dude, stop talking like we are all going to die, its getting old and lame. Over 6 months and these assholes still throw out numbers with little to no context none.
