What kind of superpower will China be? That’s the question of the 21st century. According to American leaders such as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, China will be a rapacious authoritarian nightmare, intent on destroying democracy itself. Beijing, needless to say, doesn’t quite agree.
Fortunately for those of us seeking answers to this question, China was a major power for long stretches of history, and the foreign policies and practices of its great dynasties can offer us insights into how modern Chinese leaders may wield their widening power now and in the future.

I agree wnu. You can't lead if you copy. You can only close the gap.
China has two problems it cannot fix. The first one is to have power on the Indo-Pacific and the other one is taking Siberia as it was in the past. There are two big nuclear power which will not allowed that.

COVID changed some things things. for the better. Chinese use to dip their persona chopsticks into a common bowl to fish food out for themselves. They no longer do that.
They use to curb their kids. They do not do that either.
I did see a guy spit on a mop, which was pretty gross. Then he is going to clean the floor with that mop?
But I have heard or seen pretty gross things in America too.
The World rejects China, only corrupt politicians and business men with no conscience deal with them. That's something the left and right agree on and people ego choose to continue to do business with China will have a price to pay
