White House Military Adviser Who Carries The 'Nuclear Football' Tested Positive For Covid-19

White House aides, including the military aide carrying the nuclear launch codes known as "the nuclear football," follow President Trump as he boards the Marine One helicopter to fly to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, October 2. REUTERS/Leah Millis
The Week: At least 1 of Trump's military aides tasked with carrying the nuclear 'football' reportedly has coronavirus

President Trump's military aides have a big job. At least one of them also has coronavirus.

At least one of the president's five military aides tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend, after Trump himself tested positive, CNN first reported and Bloomberg confirmed. The aides, each representing one branch of the U.S. military, stay close to Trump at all times, and carry his emergency briefcase known as the "nuclear football."

WNU Editor: Some are saying that now is the time to retire the "nuclear football" .... Trump’s COVID infection shows why it’s time to retire the nuclear football (Bulletin of The Atomic Scientists).

"According to Trump’s doctor, the president’s blood oxygen levels had dipped. And this, according to independent health experts, can impair decision-making ability.

To state the obvious, we should not entrust nuclear launch authority to someone who is not fully lucid."

We always knew that the BAS was a bunch of Soy Boys. These total idiots that were given college degrees for warming seats actually have a serious article on Middle East non-proliferation. The funny thing is that they take themselves seriously. It is fun is a gallows humor sort of way. The only people not to have a nuclear program in the middle East are below a certain population size or revenue level.

Libya, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Turkey all have or had nuclear bomb programs.

As such how can we take the BASturds seriously?

"In October 2019, there were reports that Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his dissatisfaction that it was unfair on the West’s side to keep Turkey away from developing nuclear bomb.

Turkey though is under the nuclear umbrella of the United States- that is the United States hosts its tactical nuclear weapon (TNW) in Turkey, there is little doubt that Turkey would be more than happy to have its own nuclear weapons under its own command and control channels."

Turkey's 1st nuke by be obtained the way Saudi Arabia first obtained its nuke. But Saudi Arabia was not satisfied and has its own Los Alamos at Al Ula.

Yet, we have these dweebs at BAS lecturing us.

The BASturds want to get rid of the nuclear football, because Trump among other things. Biden is on the horizon. Many days that guy talks word soup, but Trump ...

B.A.S was founded by physicists 75 years ago. Since then Howard Prescotts of the world have taken over.

The current CEO is Rachel Bronson.

EDUCATION
 Ph.D., Political Science, Columbia University (May 1997)
 M.A., Political Science, Columbia University (May 1992)
 B.A., History, University of Pennsylvania (May 1990)

PRIMARY FIELD OF EXPERTISE:
Rachel Bronson is an experienced organizational leader, with considerable management, fundraising, media and publishing experience. Her areas of expertise include global energy, Middle East politics and US foreign policy

An electricians would be preferable to the riffraff at the Bureau.

All the Bureau is, is another Liberal think thank with a different shingle hanging out front giving it a different look.

Breaking gender barriers: Ruth Bader Ginsburg and … Marie SkÅ‚odowska Curie

Being single issue advocacy is no longer viable. You must be down for the struggle on each and every Leftist issue.

BAS is pure unadulterated manure.

name the background and qualifications for those top jobs headed up by Trump appointees
if you break barriers, you get the bad as well as the good. Women now have the vote! Is that make you grind your teeth?

My female relatives on the American side have been going to college since WW2. The socialist European side is not so enlightened for some strange reason. Europe is not a good as it is cracked up to be.

No, it is not about women.

I quoted an article about "Women break Barriers", because it was written in the usual leftwing nutter style. I used that article as a concrete example, proof, of the left wing slant of the Bureau of Atomic Scientists.

I posted a portion of the CEO's resume to show she as not a scientist much less an atomic one.

If could not get enough leftwing physicists together, they should closed down BAS and any wingnuts could have then joined the Brookings Institute or similar institution instead. At least then they would be honest wingnuts.

I was not smitten with Carter Page and others. But after reading Rachel Bronson's resume, I think they are as good or better than hers.

If I remember correctly 3:32, you are the dude, who hated liberals being called archliberals, wingnuts or leftwingers. You had a melt down. It is so important for you and your side to control the vocabulary and the direction of the discussion. It is just a tactic that you side uses and that you agree with to call the other side extreme form the start to deny that you side could ever be extreme and thus control the current and future discussions. You are a pathetic dude not worth your weight in anything.

Tell me 3:32 how is Rachel Bronson better than George Papadopoulos? I think George Papadopoulos has done more work in the field of energy. Rachel has written more articles for leftwing newspapers.

The worse thing about Rachel is that she is part of the CFR. the CFR has Democrats and Republicans, but seeing her name in the mix makes me think the worse of CFR.

Earth to 3:32

Women have had the right to vote in some red state, since just after the Civil War. You might want pull a Billy Madison and go back to grade school. Seems like you missed most of it by your own admission. What a goof.

But the good keeps telling us red states are bad. They are fly over country.

These guys are better than Fauci.

On Monday top international epidemiologists Dr. Martin Kulldorff from Harvard, Dr. Sunetra Gupta from Oxford and Dr. Jayanta Bhattacharya from Stanford joined Laura Ingraham on The Ingraham Angle to announce their latest initiative to reopen society and resume life in the West for those who are not vulnerable to the coronavirus.

This far none of these people seem to be getting seriously ill. I pray it stays this way.

Obviously POTUS was not seriously ill. His experience should be a teachable moment for Americans and the world. The overwhelming vast majority of people have nothing to fear from this disease. POTUS's advice to not give into irrational fear regarding this is excellent advice.
