Lockdowns have been used to control the coronavirus around the world, plunging millions of lives into chaos.
Now the WHO has changed its mind.
The World Health Organisation has backflipped on its original COVID-19 stance after calling for world leaders to stop locking down their countries and economies.
Dr. David Nabarro from the WHO appealed to world leaders yesterday, telling them to stop “using lockdowns as your primary control method” of the coronavirus.
He also claimed that the only thing lockdowns achieved was poverty – with no mention of the potential lives saved.
“Lockdowns just have one consequence that you must never ever belittle, and that is making poor people an awful lot poorer,” he said.

1:57 was trolling. He was being sarcastic and is a leftwing agitator. You purposefully did not get the sarcasm or maybe you could not recognize, because you are old. Old people often have that problem. If it is the former, then maybe 1:57 and 2:10 are the same 'clever' (air quotes) person.
You (2:01) are trolling on your reply of "lockdowns useful ". Many if not msot conservatives have said they were needed. The argue that they were needs for 2 to 3 weeks to keep the hospitals from getting overwhelmed. After that, they believe that it is just a social tool for politicians to check out how much shit they can get away with and also to hurt the economy on purpose for political ends.
Interesting fact is that you are fuzzy in your statement of "lockdowns useful". You never put a stake in the stand and say how many weeks.
