Chinese President Xi Says World Economy In Worst Recession Since Great Depression

Zero Hedge: China's Xi: World Economy In Worst Recession Since Great Depression

Chinese President Xi Jinping told the 12th BRICS summit via video link on Tuesday that the global economy is experiencing "the worst recession since the Great Depression of the 1930s" according to state media Xinhua.

He made the remarks while urging BRICS countries to cooperate in maintaining multilateralism which he said is a greater guarantee to "safeguard world peace and stability" during the tumultuous challenges of COVID-19.

According to Xinhua, Xi also urged "openness and innovation to facilitate global economic recovery, as well as green and low-carbon development." "At present, the world is caught between the most serious pandemic in the past century and momentous changes never seen in the last one hundred years," Xi said.

One day the Chinese will test us. They did with the Kung flu, and will continue. Us Americans are more than prepared.

Thanks, Xi
How about you pay up?

20 trillion in prior state coordinated and sanctioned theft over decades, from trade mark infringements to copyright violations to intellectual property theft .. on top easily 5 trillion for compounded interest since the 90s.. on top everyone should keep in mind every nation hacks and steals, but the extend the Chinese have stolen from Europe, Japan and the US is astronomical and has resulted in indirect deaths in those countries due to the astronomical sum. When that many trillion are taken from one country by another then the victim is not just the companies affected but tex revenue, jobs, and as the extend is so large over such a prolonged time, we are talking trillions and trillions, then you have hospitals closing, a middle class eroding, families breaking apart, suicides rising

Oh and then the Chinese released by accident of course the Wuhan virus. Another few million dead directly before all this is over and about 150 million will die of hunger, thanks to the Wuhan virus impact on the economy which will cost the entire world nearly 20 trillion.

Xi should be publicly trialled

People are now admitting that the Kung flu has been around since November. Some are brave enough to mention the CCP wasted 6 weeks in notifying other countries. Some people based on cell phone traffic pattern analysis believe there was an escape of the virus from the Wuhan lab in around the 2nd week of October. As 1/2 Chinese I do not want the Chinese people punished. Id o want to see the CCP punished.

Here is the kicker. China has a system of state directed capitalism and they have so messed up the world. Our betters in the Western World admire the power of the CCP and admire state directed capitalism. It is why they want the Great Reset. The pandemic is some thing they can blame in the virus/China and take no responsibility for printing money, useless policies and malgovernance. THis is very apparent in the utterances of the World Economic Forum, the spewing of the Biden shadow government and the actions of the dictator governors.

Anyone appreciate Gavin Newsome and hos shutting down of Thanksgiving dinner and then attending a large soiree maskless?

Xi didn't order the economic lockdowns nor did he tell us to fall for the amateur hour messaging. The primary problem is the government response to this. The virus itself, while mahor problem, is secondary is secondary to the government's response and pales in comparison.

Essentially the US and other nations attacked themselves with the lockdowns. Maybe it's worse. If people like Fauci, Birx, and others were/are working on concert with China.

Dear Commie,

Xi stiffed our surveillance peopel in China preventing them from getting the word out.

Whose the Commie? Please read all of the posts carefully. I support free markets and very limited government. This should be obvious to you by now.

As I have pointed out elsewhere, how China handled this definitely leaves much to be desired and they absolutely should be held to account for their actions. Actually the word on this has been out since at least January. I will reiterate they did not order the lockdowns nor did they tell us to fall for their very amatuurish messaging on this. These are and continue to be the primary problem. Even where they have been lifted the governments still hold their prospect over our heads like a proverbial sword of Damocles. Now I am willing to consider that people like Fauci, Birx, and those that pushed the shutdowns are actually working in concert with China. At this point, it looks to me as though more than likely the shutdowns were/are an "unforced error" that certainly benefiting China. After all getting an enemy to attack themselves is quite a feat!!
