Huge Russian Antonov Cargo Plane Crash Lands In Russia (Video)

 * An-124 Ruslan cargo aircraft crash landed at Tolmachevo airport in Russia today
 * World's largest plane had 14 crew on board when the power on board cut out
 * Forced to land on runway after take off, skidding and stopping over 900ft away

One of the world's largest planes, the Antonov cargo plane, skidded off the runway suffering serious damage during a botched emergency landing in Russia today.

The An-124 Ruslan aircraft, which is able to carry 150 tons, took off from Novosibirsk airport in Siberia but immediately got into trouble, losing radio contact with the ground.

The hulking Soviet-designed plane with 14 crew circled before crash landing, skidding off the runway, causing damage to its front wheel and the left wing.

WNU Editor: I had the opportunity of seeing one of these planes up close. They are HUGE! The pictures and videos never do it justice.

Probably didnt have time to bleed off speed, thus going off the runway.
