Trump admin announced a drawdown of troops in Afghanistan and Iraq Tuesday
The U.S. military deployed B-52 bombers to the Middle East Saturday, just days after the Trump administration announced a partial withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan and Iraq.
U.S. Central Command said the U.S. Air Force B-52H “Stratofortress” aircrews conducted the mission on "short notice" to "deter aggression and reassure U.S. partners and allies."
“The ability to quickly move forces into, out of and around the theater to seize, retain and exploit the initiative is key to deterring potential aggression," said Lt. Gen. Greg Guillot, 9th Air Force commander.
"These missions help bomber aircrews gain familiarity with the region’s airspace and command, and control functions and allow them to integrate with the theater’s U.S. and partner air assets, increasing the combined force’s overall readiness.”

Trump plans to run again in 2024 and to help Republicans gain ground in 2022. With this in mind he isn't going to do anything that might get the United States into a hot war with anyone especially a major power who has numerous allies like Iran.
As for the Democrats, they may invent such things in order to undermine Trump in the current legal fight. Remember Americans are virulently anti-war now. Thus far the Iranian leadership has never been seriously threatened by anything our leadership has done. The moment they feel threatened they will unleash an attack on the US mainland that will kill more Americans in 30 minutes than COVID-19 will ever kill. While they mwy well "lose" the war, the devastating effects on our country will be beyond measure. Our leadership should carefully study Sun Tzu.
I'm pretty sure Iranian leaders don't believe this nonsense put forth by Democrats. Let's hope they don't lest they preemptively attack us. They may well "lose" but the death toll among Americans would be beyond measure and WAY beyond what COVID-19 will EVER do within the first hour.

If Trump plans to run again, then
1. he has cut the legs off in advance from other gop contenders.
2. his non cooperation with the Biden presidency will cost him many votes
3. he faces huge financial issues in 4 years on money he owes
4. he will confront serious legal issues from the Southern District of NY
1. We don't know much at all a lot can change in 3 years. SO far Trump is my man and Romney (and surrender monkeys like him) never.
2. Al Gore contested the election for 37 days after the election. Trump has at least that long. The only reason the Leftards are dumping on Gore now is because it does not matter at this point if they throw him under the bus. Besides there will really be no long term Biden presidency.
