Who In The U.S. Still Wants To Keep U.S. Forces Fighting In Afghanistan?

File - U.S. soldiers load onto a Chinook helicopter to head out on a mission in Afghanistan, Jan. 15, 2019.

An unholy union of the National Security State and the neocon-backed and corporate-funded Democratic Party are about to assume power: with media-supported internet censorship a key weapon. The Trump era has engendered numerous fractures, one might say realignments, in the political order. Long-time ideological allies are now adversaries, and long-time political enemies are now in full-fledged coalitions. These shifts are not temporary or Trump-dependent but enduring, because they are grounded in shared core beliefs about the defining debates shaping our new politics and how to consolidate real power: call it the Lincoln Project Syndrome.

WNU Editor: One of the things that I am grateful for President Trump is that for the first time in my life he is a US President who did not start and/or escalate a current war. Unfortunately, as Glenn Greenwald explains in his post above, President Trump will soon be gone and the men and women who have pushed America into all of these conflicts are coming back to power. To say that I shudder and worry about what this all means for the future is an understatement. My gut is telling me that this blog is going to be very busy covering new wars and conflicts in the coming years, unless of course I get de-platformed and/or censored by the powers that be.

Wars are good for creating casualties. All those nurses who elderly patients that died of COVID need new patients or they get pink slips. So the Derp State is going to help them out.

I would think that under European Law you could get a disruptive troll fined, banned, or jailed.

President Trump is likely planning to run again in 2024. This is what the legal challenges are geared towards right now, laying out the case for fraud before the American people. It will take time to properly investigate and their isn't sufficient time before inauguration.

Americans are now virulent anti war. Should the Democrats pursue the policies the editor properly suspects thru will, the Republicans unser Trump's leadership should have an easy time in 2022 and 2024.

Of course Republican and Trump prospects in 2022 and 2024 are contingent on America being able to survive the inevitable counterattack and blowback that will likely be the inevitable results of the pointless wars that the editor is rightly concerned that Biden and his team are going to bring to us. To this end, if there's something team Trump can do to hamstring team Biden from doing these things before leaving office, perhaps such things should be pursued as we need to be sure we actually still have a country in 2022.

Concern trolling

Товарищ!
Уходящий президент не делает «хамстрим» нового президента. Вам нужно больше узнать о том, как работает система этой страны, если вы хотите выдать себя за американского гражданина.

"Concern trolling." When the government takes us to war with another country or country, expect the other country to respond (blowback). These things place the lives of my loved
ones in danger. There better be a VERY GOOD REASON for it and the leadership needs to spell it out. When these wars are pointless, don't advance our interests, and undermine them, it pussrd me off!! I rather liked the Trunp foreign policy that was getting us out of these pointless wars. Frankly your complete misunderstanding and flippant dismissal of these risks to Americans that are the result of these wars is at best the actions of a non serious person and I would view it as trolling.

There have been 3 or 4 people besides me, who have accused you of being a troll.

I was 1st told 5 years ago to not to respond to you since you were "always pro-Russian" troll.

You want to be pro-Russian have at it Just say you are Russian and give a consistent post name (you have done the latter). The debate would be good.

If I were to say I am Russian, this would be a lie. I am an American. As a patriotic American, I try to advocate for the policies that I truly believe best serve our interests. I've provided ways to contact me and verify this numerous times. If you wish to contact me for the fastest response, email: fosheeassoc2001@gmail.com or private message through Facebook: "Rob Foshee", home town: Conroe, TX.

When provocative actions are taken against a foreign country, a reaction (blowback) is to be expected. Such blowback places Americans in danger so there better be a VERY GOOD REASON for it and the government needs to spell it out. Frankly needless provocation of a massively nuclear armed major world power who has numerous allies such as Russia seems to be a colossally bad idea. If you had been in combat, knew people who had, or knew people who either died in combat or are suffering lifelong adverse effects of combat I doubt you would be so cavalier and reckless about this.

You wish to debate, great!! I'm all eyes. I do not appreciate being slandered.
