Another Dangerous Mutant Strain Of The Covid-19 Coronavirus Has Been Discovered In South Africa

Britain and South Africa are both suffering resurgences of coronavirus which they are blaming on newly-identified mutations of the disease

 * Cases in South Africa have spiked from 3,000 to 9,500 per day in three weeks
 * New strain announced last Friday and accounts for up to 90% of SA's new cases
 * Strain called 501.V2 believed to be more extreme than one discovered in Britain
 * Two cases of SA mutant detected in Britain, Hancock calls it 'highly concerning'
 * Scientists say it is more transmissible but so far not believed to be more deadly

Britain today banned travel to South Africa after discovering two cases of a mutant Covid-19 which has been is driving a massive second wave among young people in the country.

Why South Africa?

Large population.
Large Urban population
Large population with weakened immune system due to HIV

Young people without AIDS will recover.

Young people with HIV will have a higher than normal death rate. Not a shock.

Again who cares, please stop with the fear porn, only thing I want to know is does it have a human extinction level rate. Viruses always mutate, ALWAYS. It it s crapshoot when the make flu vaccines because there are so many mutations of if. Mutating is probably a good thing because it could burn itself out. Please stop with the we are all going to die fear porn

I assume the reason WNU is scared is for the sake of his mother. There are 2 or 3 other reasons or possible reasons.

Whew I am at deaths are ramping up. There were 3 on the same day at one nursing home.

I will state again the average nursing home stay is 5 months. If a 100 people are out in a nursing home on January 1, 2021, 50 of them won't be around by Memorial Day (COVID or no COVID)

What does that tell you?

All the covid has done is decreasing life expectancy by 4 to 6 months maybe overall and just for this year and maybe only for the nursing home set.

Agreed, 2:54,

A few more months in a dead end care facility is hardly worth acknowledging. Put into one of these outfits I think I would ask myself first thing every morning "what did I do to deserve this?"

I always considered dying at home best. 4 of of 5 recent ancestors did. Not one died in a nursing home. That is my standard.
