China Launches 'Gray-Zone' Warfare To Subdue Taiwan

Reuters: Special Report-China launches 'gray-zone' warfare to subdue Taiwan

TAIPEI (Reuters) - Months after eliminating a popular challenge to its rule in Hong Kong, China is turning to an even higher-stakes target: self-governing Taiwan.

The island has been bracing for conflict with China for decades, and in some respects, that battle has now begun. It’s not the final, titanic clash that Taiwan has long feared, with Chinese troops storming the beaches. Instead, the People’s Liberation Army, China’s two-million-strong military, has launched a form of “gray zone” warfare.

In this irregular type of conflict, which stops short of an actual shooting war, the aim is to subdue the foe through exhaustion. WNU Editor: In the past year the Trump administration has responded to this Chinese aggression against Taiwan by expediting numerous arms sales, warning China to respect Taiwan's sovereignty, and to back these words by increasing a military presence in the region. Will a Biden administration continue this policy? Aside from one adviser to the Biden team who is saying that there will be no change .... The only saving grace of the Democrat Party is that so many different foreign groups have their hooks into party members that as soon as comrades kow tow to one group the other groups yank their chains and the comrades have to respond because those chains are attached to hooks in sensitive areas.

Like Smalwell. How do we know that Fang Fang was the openly foreign asset he was squeezing? Heck he could have been doing the sister of the Awan brothers or one of the brothers themselves.

The Pakistanis and Chinese would have to have a diplomatic meeting to decide, who has precedence over milking Smalwell.
