WASHINGTON — Pentagon planners need a “reality check” about future defense budgets and must accept that military dollars may be drying up, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said Wednesday.
“I suspect that, at best, the Pentagon’s budgets will start flattening out. There’s a reasonable prospect that they could actually decline significantly, depending on what happens” with the broader economy, Gen. Mark Milley said at an event hosted by the Brookings Institution.

A) WNU has north of a 40% chance of being correct, since so many elected Republicans are pussies, the alphabet media is an arm, of the Democrat party and the DNC will vociferously defend their ill gotten gains.
I have said before if the Democrat party, is assigned to the scrap heap of history where it belongs, the Republican party should be broken up by the rank and file and the RINO's and other cast out or left behind in a rump party.
B) Just fuck'n A genius. Continue the wars, but cut the budget. With such astute accounting/actuarial genius, Joe Biden must be the brains of his administration, which is not saying a lot, since he has so few neurons left.
Cutting the budget while continuing or expanding the police actions, will be cutting into the hide of research, development, procurement and force structure.
Peer to peer capability will be serious;y eroded. The QDR will be changed not based on reality, but the political needs of a bunch losers. These same losers will be mouthing off to one of the peers namely China for domestic political cover.
