WNU Editor: According to his doctor Letlow died from a heart attack following a procedure related to the infection. He is the first member or member-elect of Congress to die from the coronavirus. This is another reminder on how dangerous this disease is. As for his seat. Another special election will be held.

" following a procedure related to the infection. "

"Procedure" is rather generic description.

'He "apparently suffered a cardiac event this evening that was refractory to all resuscitation efforts."' - Fox News

Who uses the word refractory?

Refractory
A refractory material or refractory is a material that is resistant to decomposition by heat, pressure, or chemical attack, and retains strength and form at high temperatures. Refractories are inorganic, nonmetallic, porous, and heterogeneous. - Wikipedia

Who uses that word. I have heard the word refractory in the context of refractory brick for a boiler.

WTF are they hiding?

Maybe the doctors are hiding from a lawsuit? That is understandable from the doctor's POV.

People might not know all 206 to 210 bones of the body, but medical procedures are not so esoteric that a good health reporter could not describe the procedure and 60% to 95% of the population understand.

Maybe he had a heart attack due to blood clots brought on by COVID. Maybe they put a catheter into him and it went bad. What the news basically tells us is that he died because watchmacallit messed up the thingamabob and he could not be resuscitated by the thingy.

Thats sad, definitely pretty rare for someone his age with no comorbidities to die from Covid, but there's always a chance.

"maybe this maybe that ..."

You have a razor sharp mind. You would have been a great scientists except for that little problem of not being good at math.

CY Troll (5:11),

You hardly if ever read the articles you link.

"The Democratic mayor of Denver told residents to stay home for Thanksgiving -- and then flew to Mississippi.
The Democratic mayor of Austin recorded a video imploring his constituents to stay home -- while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, more than 800 miles away.
Most recently, it was revealed that White House coronavirus coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx"

But we know reading is your strong point.

We can add to the hupocrisy list

Pelosi (D)
Diane Feinstein (D)

Dr. Fauci

Governor Cuomo (D)
Governor Prizker (D)
Governor Newsome (D)
Governor Whitmer (D)
Governor Brown (D)

Mayor De Blasio (D)
The Chicago mayor (D)

20% or more of the Democrat governors have violated their own orders.

No hypocrisy among Republicans. There is a corona virus. It may be 3X the death rate of flu. The people who have to worry is elderly. They have a 5% death rate it seems, if they contract it.

HCQ works. To this day Switzerland and Spain are using it.
