Conflicts To Watch In 2021

Council On Foreign Relations: Conflicts to Watch in 2021

Preventive Priorities Survey Results In CFR’s annual Preventive Priorities Survey, U.S. foreign policy experts assess the likelihood and impact of thirty potential conflicts that could emerge or escalate in the coming year.

A crisis stemming from North Korea’s continued development of nuclear weapons and ballistic missile testing is the top-ranked conflict concern for 2021, according to the Council on Foreign Relations’ (CFR) thirteenth annual Preventive Priorities Survey.

The survey identifies potential violent overseas conflicts where U.S. troops might be deployed in the year ahead. Conducted by CFR’s Center for Preventive Action (CPA) last November, the survey asks foreign policy experts to rank thirty ongoing or potential conflicts based on their likelihood of occurring or escalating in the next year and their potential impact on U.S. national interests.

Not all elements of FARC reconciled with the Columbian government. When Beijing Biden gives Venezuela cash or eases sanctions, Venezuela will likewise give FARC a shot in the arm.

There is no dot on Cameroon. Has the English population already been ground into the dust? Boko Haram has been active in Cameroon.

There is no dot on Mozambique. ISIS Murdering 50 at a time must not impress the people inhabiting the salons of the CFR.

In the 1st decade of this century I thought CFR were elite. They are not.

What about the drums of War beating for the subjugation of Russia. It's everywhere. Media is readying the people.

Amazing how powerful a person's eyes get with age. When I was young, a suit impressed me. With age I can see right through it's material.

There are 11 active Army divisions. The equivalent 2 divisions in Korea.

There are 4 marine divisions with one in Okinawa.

Can 13 divisions take and hold Russia? I think not.

"We have a situation where we're looking very strongly at sinks and showers, and other elements of bathrooms," Trump says.

"People are flushing toilets 10 times, 15 times, as opposed to once."

Judeo-Christian western civilization has been destroyed.

The subjugation of a country doesn't require boots on the ground. Just public opinion.

Trump exaggerated, but not by much.

#2 is often a 2 flush during winter. When there is a stoppage it often takes several flushes with a plunger to get it unstuck.

Congress imposed 'their' standards on shower heads and flush toilets. It is the same folly as carbon footprint,. They can mandate and force people to have smaller carbon footprints to reduce the nations carbon foot print even as they increase it by increasing the population by 3 million a year. The same with water. Those overstaying visas or coming across the border are going to use more water than is saved by mandates.

About the mandated light bulb changes. Congress mandated poisonous substances inside houses. People drop light bulbs by accident at times, then they have mercury in the household. People asked the busy bodies to hold off. To wait 5 or 10 years for LED bulbs. Congress did not. Sure enough in 5 or 10 years LEDs replaced the poisonous bulbs mandated by Congress.

People naturally want to save on utilities, so they can afford other things. People will by energy efficient items without prodding.

People resent the Hell out of Congress for the light bulbs, showerheads and toilets.

Look at the damn link. Domestic water usage is not anywhere the big piece of the pie.
