WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President-elect Joe Biden said his administration’s economic package will be in the trillions of dollars and include unemployment insurance and rent forbearance.
“It is necessary to spend the money now,” Biden told reporters. “The answer is yes, it will be in the trillions of dollars, an entire package.”

What's my take.
I believe Joe Biden and his commitment to spend trillions of dollars.
I can also easily see a $5 - $8 trillion dollar deficit this year (if not more) and this is why.
$1 trillion for the elimination of student debt
$1 trillion in direct aid to families via through $2,000 checks.
$2 trillion for a revamped unemployment insurance and rent forbearance program
$3 trillion in aid to cities and states with impossible debt levels and unsustainable pension funds.
$1 trillion for projects that Democrats have always dreamed about.
.... and then there is quantitative easing and the trillions involved in that.

I'd say a likeky end to the US dollar's role as world reserve currency and its not likeky to be a "soft landing" either at this rate. Hopefully I'm wrong.

That in a nutshell is why Countessa Pelosi von Baltimore did not agree to a COVID relief bill in July. She wanted her $4 trillion and the peasants could all starver to death from July to December for all she cared.

I'm not completely sure. I suspect it will be some type of "basket of currencies." Probably the Euro and Chinese Yen will be the leaders assuming the European Union survives. With added debt the currency is debased and devalued. No one is going to want it.
I'm pretty sure the major world powers are already working on this. I'd be shocked if they aren't. It would've been helpful if we could have participated in this process, not debased our country, and worked towards a "soft landing" when the inevitable does occur.
Having the US dollar as world reserve currency has allowed us to run up massive debt without facing inflation as a consequence and it's allowed our country to "punch above it's weight." It's coming to an end and adding on still more debt will only hasten the process.
I think we are marched into direction of War. A good population is now unemployed globally. The tipping point for prolonged civil unrest is maybe 10% unemployment among young men and women, say between 18-35. In 2021 we will be far beyond that point for the entire year. And it's done on purpose over a virus that now the MSM says came perhaps from a lab in China.
Doesn't take a genius to see what's likely happening here. Either war, a cold war on steroids with decoupling from China, or a new global system of tyranny in which you take the vaccine or else. In which you say what CNN tells you, or else.
