After originally planning to block President Donald Trump from posting to his Facebook and Instagram account for 24 hours, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Thursday the blocks have been extended "indefinitely."
"We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great," Zuckerberg wrote in a Facebook post Thursday. "Therefore, we are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete."
Facebook's actions came too late, says the Real Oversight Board, a Facebook watchdog organization not affiliated with Facebook.

WNU Editor: Social media companies have been de-platforming, downgrading, and banning users that they disagree with politically for the past year. And now it is the US President that they have banned. Here is an easy prediction. Expect a larger purge of accounts in the coming days/weeks/month by these same companies over views and opinions that they disagree with.

RIP 1st Amendment.
Well I guess there is always my space.😂
Parler and Gab are replacing Twit
Rumble is replacing YouTube
This would have happened in the previous 12 years but liberals said if you do not like the rules, then build your own. When people started building their own, they started throwing yup roadblocks like telling them they could not use email software then extant or rent server space.
My view of liberals is becoming downright Menckenian.
Did you ever expect any mercy from the demonic left once they achieved power? These are the easy days.
Once socialists have power, you must shoot your way out.
This when you add rich people to democracy (Demos in ancient Greek is "common people").
They usually act as "boss" and want to continue acting as boss, thinking is simply normally buy institutions and decency like peoples and things.
Both Trump and Zuckerberg, in this case.
The "Genuine concerns" of pro-Trump at Capitol, for who live in their own bubble: They are part fascists out-of-reality Q-Anon theorist, part angered middle-class and underclass baited by fascists and heated by Trump.
As for Antifa/BLM protest, as I predict, without a head the rebellion end, and many remember only riots and old slavers toppled statues, not the many thousands who march in pacific protest for social justice. But BLM movement also remain.
The important difference is, that the pro-Trump are lured to Capitol Hill for a semi-coup pushed by exit president that do not recognize election results.
And Zuckerberg act as great censor, pretending to be in charge of peaceful transition, but only for his interest.
Aside from the poorly organized national vote judgements, this is a limit in a presidential system: the same used in almost all Latin America. If USA was not the greatest predator in this world, it end like others third-world nations.
1st amendment gives the right to scream insurrection in federal areas?
the right of a private business "trumps" his right to say what he wants on their company facilities
You have to make a little sense.
