Asia Times: Where would China wage war?
If there was a war, the strategic solution for China would be to fight it where it would be most convenient
As India announced on Monday new skirmishes with Chinese troops took place at Nathu La, in the state of Sikkim, Beijing declared it would launch its third aircraft carrier this year.
In the past few days, PLA (People’s Liberation Army) jet fighters and submarines violated Taiwan’s airspace and waters. Has China become more aggressive, marching towards a military conflict with its neighbors?
Is this simply Western propaganda or is China under siege? If so, will China become cordoned off? Many in China directly or indirectly voice this concern, and point to recent US policies vis-à-vis Beijing. If actual war is no longer impossible, where would it occur?
But to understand the situation, we have to take a step back.

The predicate in the headline is in error. The verb start should be used instead of wage.
A war that does not stay reginal or local will be waged everywhere. Even local wars will see embassies throughout the world of the combatants conduct informational warfare. Of course there is cyber ...
It will be a big mistake for china without assesing the circumstances of starting a war with any of the nations that china have territorial claims with. That will be a much more different story and it is much harder to accept by all nations that surround china. When that happens China will never be able to solve taiwan and hongkong. There is only one way to fulfill chinese dream, to change to diplomatic policy and stay with progressive instance to all nations that surround them. after all they are good in all aspects, greediness will just fail them and will blow them hard.
