MOSCOW/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Russia and the United States have struck a deal to extend the New START nuclear arms control treaty, the Kremlin said on Tuesday, a move that preserves the last major pact of its kind between the world’s two biggest nuclear powers.
The treaty, which was due to expire next month, limits the number of strategic nuclear warheads, missiles and bombers that Russia and the United States can deploy.
The Kremlin declared the breakthrough, which was widely anticipated, in a statement announcing that President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Joe Biden had spoken for the first time since Biden took office last week.

“What I see is if the election goes to Biden then there is a good chance that the Democrats will then control all two branches of Congress and the White House,
and considering the kinds of things that they are proposing, that can well mean the point of no return for this country.” - Sowell
RIP America
Once again, lighten up Francis.
Thomas Sowell made the above quote. He is a PhD Economist. He called it like he sees it. He is a very intelligent commentator on national events.

Philosophy can be a soft, a very soft degree.
You know like English.
Economics is not a soft degree.
Krugman got his Nobel price in economics and it is not fertile ground for criticism. He actually used the mathematical tools to get his specific or narrow result. It took work. A lot of work. When I have said about the economist known as Krugman in the past is this. He did good work then, but know he just shoots form the hip in his editorials. That is he when he write editorials, he does not use the tools of his trades. Ergo there probably is no discipline. IMO What the undisciplined Krugman servers up now is shit on a shingle.
What I gave was Sowell's delphi oracle method guestimate. Sowell did not give a rigorous mathematical proof. He based it on a life time of observation and his training. Still it is not a rigorous proof. Economics is not a fully developed science that Sowell or Krugman could provide such a proof because there are not enough agreed upon conventions, axioms and laws.
We can compare Sowell to Krugman. We can compare what they have said over the years and see who has better stood the test of time.
But nice ad hominem attack ALL IN CAPS. It is what I expect from a NON-STEM ANGRISH PhD.
Even Lefties, CLOWARD & PIVEN, have written about a point of no return, a tipping point. It is how they wage warfare.
