Canada's Parliament To Vote On Monday Recognizing Beijing’s Treatment Of Uighurs As A Genocide

Canadian MPs recognizing Beijing’s treatment of Uighurs as a genocide would be a welcome development, says a United States representative for the Commission on International Religious Freedom.

Nury Turkel said such a motion, debated in Ottawa Thursday, is long overdue and added the U.S. “reasonably expects” its allies and partners to also join the effort to stop the Chinese Communist Party’s (CPP) actions in the Xinjiang Uighur Atonomous Region.

“As president (Joe) Biden said, this is something that needs to be tackled multilaterally,” Turkel, himself a Uighur, told the Star. “It’s a welcome and positive direction.”

WNU Editor: This motion, introduced by the opposition Conservatives, is non-binding and doesn’t detail further steps to be taken should it pass a vote Monday. But the symbolism of it passing is huge. Not surprising .... the reaction from China has been predictable .... Chinese ambassador denounces pending vote by MPs on declaring genocide against Uighurs (CBC).

This'll be as truthful as one of Lapide's comments.

What is untruthful in Canadian conservatives in parliament calling the treatment of Uighurs genocide?

genocide (noun)

1.) The systematic and widespread extermination or attempted extermination of a national, racial, religious, or ethnic group.

2.) The systematic killing of a racial or cultural group.

3.) The systematic killing of substantial numbers of people on the basis of ethnicity, religion, political opinion, social status, or other particularity.

Definitions 1, 2, or 3 all fit. We do not know that the CCP will be successful. So #1 may be applicable. IF the CCP only kills 10% of Uighurs, but exterminates their culture, then #1 is applicable. Religion is an aspect of culture.

By that definition the Democrats are engaged in genocide as well.

In Canada they are making a stand with or without the concurrence of Prime Minister Black Face. This is serious. Little Justin may not get invited to Beijing to play dress up like he did in India. Justin loves playing dress up with make up.

Are RINO's like Senator Lee and Democrats serious about the Uighur situation? No more word on the supply chain being relocated from China to Vietnam or other countries, since Trump's trade war. The money pouring into pockets of Democrats and some RINO's must be too good.

Christians have been arrested in China for the past decade and longer. Silence form the Democrats.

Falun Gong? No politician cares.

Tibet? Seriously? Not even Richard Gere has piped up above the noise.

Any bellyaching about Tibet is kabuki.

We would not want to get too serious too fast. We must give Baby Hunter time to unwind his Chinese assets, if he is unwinding them at all. How long does Hunter get to unwind his Chinese assets? 6 months? A year? A presidential term?
