DUBAI (Reuters) - Iran on Sunday ruled out holding an informal meeting with the United States and European powers to discuss ways to revive its 2015 nuclear deal with major powers, insisting that Washington must lift all its unilateral sanctions.

“Considering the recent actions and statements by the United States and three European powers, Iran does not consider this the time to hold an informal meeting with these countries, which was proposed by the EU foreign policy chief,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said, according to Iranian media.

One thing is for sure, Iran will NOT make this easy for anyone nor will they give free political points to Biden or any other US politician. They will thoroughly leverage their greatest strength which is the fog-of-war/uncertainty surrounding their true progress towards a nuclear weapon for as long as possible.

"They will thoroughly leverage their greatest strength which is the fog-of-war/uncertainty surrounding their true progress towards a nuclear weapon for as long as possible."

Which is why if they already have a nuke or 2 or 3 they will not definitively say so. Iran has worked and in hand with Pakistan and North Korea. Iran may have provided money or material in addition to their knowledge to obtain a nuke from North Korea. North Korea needs the money.

The problem is not to have a nuke. The problem is to have nuke assembly like and enough nukes that are deliverable, so that they are a credible threat. Until then you play coy.
