Is The Earth's Magnetic Field About To Flip As It Did 42,000 Years Ago?

An ancient, well-preserved tree that was alive the last time the Earth's magnetic poles flipped has helped scientists pin down more precise timing of that event, which occurred about 42,000 years ago.

This new information has led them to link the flipping of the poles to key moments in the prehistoric record, like the sudden appearance of cave art and the mysterious extinction of large mammals and the Neanderthals.

They argue that the weakening of the Earth's magnetic field would have briefly transformed the world by altering its climate and allowing far more ultraviolet light to pour in.

WNU Editor: This is scary shit. But also fascinating to read about.

EVIDENCE OF THE CHANGE TAKING PLACE

Indeed this is a fascinating topic. I've read about this over the years but this arguably the most detailed study of this phenomenon ever conducted. If they're right and I think they are, it's not will it happen but when will it happen. I suppose we should prepare for it somehow but how and even if we could it's going to be hard to convince decision makers to prepare for a situation that only occurs pn average every 40+ thousand years or so.

I suppose what we will have to do is do what we've always done and that is be resourceful and adapt to the situation when it occurs. Eventually we will also learn fully as we are beginning to now governments, at least "western" ones are of little benefit when disaster strikes.

Revelation 6:14

"The sky was rolled up like a scroll, and all of the mountains and islands were moved from their places ."

This sounds like a good reason to fast track renewable energy, ban all fossil fuels and raise taxes. If we act fast we could possibly reverse the situation by say 2050 but by then it will be too late. Fuck.
Where's Greta?

Greta is working on her GED ... for middle school.

Are you saying reduction of carbon emissions not only prevents climate change miraculously but also causes the magnetic field to stay stable? Omg this is so awesome! Greta for nobel peace and chemistry prizes!yehhhaaa!

Why of course it does.

you would do well to stop badmouthing a young lady who is trying to
do something about climate change. Your change? your undies.

Neanderthals died out after Earth's magnetic poles flipped, causing a climate crisis 42,000 years ago, a study says

Yes but the Neanderthals didn't have the cash to change Mother Nature. They certainly didn't have the likes of Al Gore, Greta and many others to educate our sorry dumb arses.
Life was good.

Anon 7:04,

You literally responded to girlie boy idiot of no worth whatsoever. Nothing the Neanderthals did caused the magnetic sphere collapse. Nothing the environmentalists are doing will prevent a magnetic sphere collapse.

What environmentalist are doing is making the downfall of society more probable with their energy poverty policies.

When disaster strikes & those monkeys who have had enhancements of intelligence & speech escape from the Chinese laboratories, as every living orgasm surely must, mankind will have one hell of a battle on our hands for control of the earth!!!! I'm going to watch "Battle for the Planet of the Apes" & find out what we must do!!! Praise the Lord & pass the ammunition!!! Keep ducking 🙉
