Is Saudi Arabia Becoming The New Drone Battleground?

Saudi security forces have also used drones — in this case, to film a military parade 


An Iraqi militia has claimed responsibility for two suicide drones fired at Riyadh earlier this week — and vowed to do it again. The new group suggested Saudis should be sleeping with "one eye open" from now on. Over the past week, two mysterious projectiles were intercepted by Saudi Arabian air defense systems as they flew over the country's capital, Riyadh. Last Saturday, state-owned media channels said a projectile had been intercepted and on Tuesday, explosions were again heard over the city around midday.

WNU Editor: Suicide/Kamikaze drones are going to be used in future wars and conflicts. They are cheaper than missiles, and if done right, can be very effective. Azerbaijan's effective use of drones in its war with Armenia last year showed everyone how they can be used to decimate enemy forces.

Until a counter is found that will negate the drones, The Russians deployed one in Armenia which stemmed the drones.
