President Biden Ordered Airstrikes On Buildings In Syria That The Pentagon Said Were Used By Iranian-Backed Militias (Updated)

Authorities said the airstrike targeted structures belonging to two Iranian-backed militias in Al Bukamal (depicted)

The president approved the bombings even as he pursues a diplomatic initiative with Iran to revive a 2015 nuclear agreement.

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden on Thursday ordered airstrikes on buildings in Syria that the Pentagon said were used by Iranian-backed militias, in retaliation for rocket attacks on U.S. targets in neighboring Iraq.

that is the way things are done. You want to negotiate, ok. You do not stop hitting back when your guy(s) get killed. In Sum: you are too busy trying to belittle Biden to to see that he is a strong leader who does not suffer Americans to get killed without retaliating

do the Iranians know the names of the 22 purportedly killed? A number of those Iranian paid people in Iraq are Shia Afghanis, who left Afghanistan for Iran. The Iranians kindly told them, if they wanted to remain in Iran they would have to fight in Syria so the rest of their family could remain. The Iranians recruiters and pay masters forgot their names ages ago.

There is a difference between killing janitors versus the CEO of a corporation. Qasem Soleimani was the 'CEO' or the IRGC. His killing was a big deal. Killing those 22 janitors is not. The Iranians have already brought in replacements.
