President Biden Says His Administration Will Make An Announcement On Saudi Arabia On Monday

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Joe Biden on Saturday said his administration would make an announcement on Saudi Arabia on Monday, following a U.S. intelligence report that found Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had approved the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The Biden administration has faced some criticism, notably an editorial in the Washington Post, that the president should have been tougher on the crown prince, who was not sanctioned despite being blamed for approving Khashoggi's murder.

Asked about punishing the crown prince, Saudi Arabia's de facto ruler, who is also known as MbS, Biden said: "There will be an announcement on Monday as to what we are going to be doing with Saudi Arabia generally."

Biden did not provide details. But a White House official suggested no new significant steps were expected.

WNU editor: President Biden on Saturday said that an announcement will be made on Monday on " what we are going to be doing with Saudi Arabia generally" (see video above). And now his aides are now suggesting no new significant steps are expected?!?!?!?

In the meantime pressure is building on the White House to punish the effective ruler of Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Salman .... Senators hope for more Saudi sanctions in wake of Khashoggi report (Politico). More here .... Ex-CIA director urges Biden to hold MBS ‘accountable’ in Khashoggi’s death (NYPost).

In another sign of a growing split between the White House and its Arab allies in the Middle East, a number of Arab states are expressing their support of Saudi Arabia .... Gulf states express support for Saudi Arabia over US Khashoggi report (Gulf News).

"A public inquiry began on 27 January 2015,[10] and concluded in January 2016 that Litvinenko's murder was carried out by the two suspects and that they were "probably" acting under the direction of the FSB and with the approval of president Vladimir Putin and then FSB director Nikolai Patrushev."

So Putin orders Litvinenko's death. The West knows it. Putin comes to America and NOTHING!

The January 2015 report on Litvinenko's death came out after George Bush was out of office. It came out when Barack Insane Obama was president. And NOTHING!

I think I know what the pro9blem is. Barack is illiterate. So he has an excuse!

Democrats got smarter. They backed a candidate that can actually read this time around.

Biden can read TOTUS ... sometimes ... on a good day ... if they have the mix of prescription right.

Go for it Biden you chump.
You will just hasten the Saudi joining of the Abraham accords, when they realise the yanks ain't got their back for the next four years vis-à-vis Iran. The only people remotely likely to have their back will be the Israeli's facing the same threat.

Thank you Biden, you chump...

SOCIAL PROMOTION promotion is the practice of promoting a student to the next grade after the current school year, regardless of if they learned the necessary material or if they are often absent. This is done in order to keep the students with their peers by age, that being the intended social grouping.

"The Harvard Law Review, generally considered the most prestigious in the country, elected the first black president in its 104-year history today. The job is considered the highest student position..."

"As president of the Harvard Law Review and a law professor in Chicago, Senator Barack Obama refined his legal thinking, but left a scant paper trail. His name doesn't appear on any legal scholarship."

Yup, Obama's election as head of the HLW was pure social promotion.

It is not what you know; it is who you know

From the Jerusalem Post article, which I am reading and which Master Derp did not read.

"THE HOUTHI offensive commenced on February 6. The timing is crucial to understanding the dynamic. On February 4, US President Joe Biden announced the withdrawal of US support for the Saudi war effort.

“This war has to end,” the president said. “To underscore our commitment, we are ending all American support for offensive operations in the war on Yemen, including relevant arms sales.”

Two days later, the US administration unconditionally revoked the designation of the Houthis as a foreign terrorist designation. The Houthi offensive toward Marib began on the same day. The Houthis also commenced a series of drone attacks on Saudi Arabia.
