And then when you think he is finished, he follows with another tweet (see below) saying that his comments about Tucker Carlson were not an attack on Tucker Carlson, and that he was making a non-political statement about his teammates in the United States Armed Forces.

He got promoted to his position because he is political. The military is no different than the civil service in that respect.
Both Anon 1:40 and Dov Sar are correct. Biden, really the speech writer and the speech writer's boss, had the trained seal (Biden), bring this up to virtue signal or throw out red meat. PERIOD.
Many military members come from military families, not a shock. Also, many people meet their spouses at work. Again, that is not a shock.
You are not going to have much of a military of you population is shrinking, which means you need 2 to 3 successful pregnancies. It means the military has to plan for women being pregnant on average 3 times give or take one. If a women gets pregnant much more than that you have to wonder how dedicated she is IMO. What is the alternative? Exclude 1% of the population from getting pregnant? Make them warrior monks? That seems like a loser of an idea.
Either the Manchukuo on the Potomac put that out there to virtue signal or as red meat. If the latter they are more determined the near enemy, anyone not them in the US, than the far enemy.
Military maternity unfirms have been out there for a long time, decades. Why bring it up now?

I do not watch Fox News. If I did, I would watch Tucker Carlson. I might even be miffed or mad at what Tucker said. I do not know, because it is harder than Hell to find out what he said.
The first 6 out 10 returns are all from liberal wingnut sites. The many problems of reading them are giving them web traffic and more importantly they will not give Tucker's speech in toto. Sure respond to Tuckers speech point by point or in some comprehensive way. But all they will do is give and excerpt and mostly rail.
Is Tucker wrong? I do not know. I have not seen his full remarks and I do not want to fall to a sound bite strategy. So I will just dig in.

One of the purposes of the F-35 was to get economies of scale and simplify logistics thereby making them more efficient and cheaper.
Why not across the board. Why not with uniforms also? There are already maternity uniforms. A drone pilot does not need a maternity flight suit.
Truth be told everyone mile cammies and flight suits especially nonpreggers overweight people. There are easier to wear.
Military has simplified uniforms before to make it cheaper for military members. They got rid of the snazzy dress khakis. It was a sad day.
